The property dates back to the 1520 built on request by the Nobile Family Rossi. Over the centuries the property has not only changed several owners but has also hosted important guests such as Pope Pio XII.
The villa is surrounded by 12 hectares of garden, where guests can calmly stroll in the complete harmony surrounded by secular trees, which were planted at the same time as the construction of the house, beautiful lawns, fruit trees, plants and olive groves that allow the production of olive oil. The external and specifically the internal atmosphere of the property of the villa is characterized by spacious rooms with classic and antique style furnishing, with a delicate touch of fantasy. The tower and the outdoors offers breathtaking views, overlooking the countryside and the city of Florence. Next to the Villa, but in a separate house, is where the owners reside, whom are at disposal in case of necessity.
The proximity of Antica Villa and its strategic position will allow its guest to organise day trips to Florence and Siena and all the main Tuscan cities and towns.
INTERIOR
The Villa, measures about 800 square meters, and is built on three levels, including a spectacular tower. From the first floor entrance, there is a large hall which accesses two spacious living rooms connected to the dining area in classic style with a table for 12 people, a kitchenette, and another dining room in rustic style with a table for 10 people. Also on this floor there is a study with a piano and internet access, and two service bathrooms. A large stone staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a classic dining room comfortable and spacious enough for 10 people, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace ideal for outdoors meals and a laundry room. The night area is made of two twin bedrooms, of which one with en suite bathroom with shower, a double bedroom and two bathrooms, one with bath tub, one with shower. There are two double suites, one with en suite bathroom with shower and the other with en suite bathroom with bath tub. Inside the tower there is a small living room, ideal as a reading room.
