Antico Monastero, an ancient monastery, was originally built around the year 1.000 A.C. Its central tower still stands the test of time, around which the residence has been built over the years. The central building and the two wings date back to the 17th century.
The property is immersed in a beautiful garden where there are three farmhouses: the Lemon House, the Veranda and another house occupied by the caretakers (always at guests' disposal but willing also to leave the property if necessary).
In a unique atmosphere of rare elegance and prestige whilst at the same time a simple way it is it possible to enjoy the charm and culture that welcomed guests once upon a time. The house is decorated with antique and original handcrafted Tuscan pieces, original textiles, wrought iron lamps, “cotto” pavement, wooden ceilings beam.
The property’s position is favorable for daily excursions towards the most famous art cities of Tuscany and Umbria like Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio but also towards the Adriatic coast with has famous beaches such as Rimini, Riccione and Cesenatico.
