GINESTRA is one of the seven apartments of Borgo Morus Alba

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque verdant landscape, "Borgo Morus Alba" is a beautiful farmhouse, part of a farm located in the Chianti area dedicated to the production of typical local products such as Chianti wine, extra virgin olive oil, grappa and Vin Santo.

A characteristic road of cypress trees leads to the electric gate of the property to which the owners have dedicated all their passion, enthusiasm and care. This holiday residential complex looks like a small village which offers beautiful views on the ancient church of Sant Appiano  (10th Century) and the famous towers of San Gimignano.

The complex also includes a large main building, where the guardians and responsibles live and an apartment occasionally occupied by the owners.  In the ground floor of this main building, a beautiful room has been restored and turned into a large kitchen with fireplace which can be used for cooking classes.

In the adjacent farmhouse situated next to the main building, there is the Reception, a small shop with typical products and 5 of the 7 apartments: 
on the back side of this building, we can find the apartments Rosmarino, Salvia and Gelsomino while the apartments Ginestra and Lavanda (that can be connected, on request, via a connecting door) are located  on one side of the building, next to the reception.

In front of the reception, we find another cottage with: two apartments (Prezzemolo and Alloro) that, upon request, can be connected via a connecting door;  a small fitness room with Finnish sauna and a breakfast common room with veranda overlooking the pool. This beautiful room can be used as a conference room for training courses, weddings, birthdays and other celebrations or events.

For those who want or dream about relaxation in a luxurious surrounding, "Borgo Morus Alba” is without no doubt an excellent choice.

The owners have paid particular attention to each single detail to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.

Borgo Morus Alba, in its apartments,  combines harmoniously the refined modern style with the delicate and refined elegance.  The Tuscan style has been reinterpreted and skillfully combined with the characteristic linearity and sobriety of Nordic design.

INTERIOR

The apartment GINESTRA is on the first floor of an old farmhouse whose oldest part dates back the 18 st Century.
Access through a stone staircase which leads to a corridor that gives access to two apartments: LAVANDA and GINESTRA.

The apartment GINESTRA is on two floors.

FIRST FLOOR: the kitchen, a double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
ATTIC: A stone staircase leads to the attic whith a double room, a small lounge and a bathroom with shower. The attic still conserves the typical wooden beams of the old Tuscan farmhouses.

The special feature is a small terrace of the apartment GINESTRA located among the rooftops from where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Tuscan countryside and spectacular view of the towers of San Gimignano.

The apartment is ideal for four people but can easily be used by 5 / 6 persons using the sofa bed.

OUTDOOR

The apartment also has a private outdoor area with chairs, table and parasol.
 
NOTE: Upon request, the apartment GINESTRA (4 +2) can be rented with the apartment LAVANDA (2 +2) as both apartments can be connected through a door. In this case, the two apartments can accommodate up to 6 +4 people.

The result is highly successful thanks to a wise use of materials, colors and perfect "fusion" between the design and relaxation.     All apartments have an elegant appearance of great effect thanks to the use of warm colors and local materials such as terracotta, stone, sand, ceilings with wooden beams and bricks.

EQUIPMENT

All apartments are also equipped to ensure comfort and have air conditioning, heating, fireplace, satellite TV, ADSL Internet access, microwave / grill, toaster, coffee maker, hairdryer, safe, cot upon request.

GARDEN & POOL

Borgo Morus Alba has a beautiful and wide well-kept garden with flowers from March to October and is also the ideal location for events, weddings, ceremonies, birthday parties

The large pool measures 14 x 7 m is also equipped with a children's area, wrought iron beds, umbrellas and shaded areas, Wi-Fi in the pool area. Guests can also use many common zones created to ensure  fun, rest and relaxation:  barbecue area, fitness room and a small sauna.

Services included: heating, bed linen, towels, pool towels, pool, fitness room, sauna, children, internet, outdoor grill, parking area. The company has a system of nocturnal surveillance.

Services on request:  

• beds can be added (bed or sofa bed)but are only available on request (at a price of € 50, - per person per week),
• breakfast on request € 12, -/person,
• dinner (by reservation only) at a price of € 50, - per person,
• children (depending on age Tuscan meal reduced): appetizer, pasta dish, meat dish with vegetables, dessert, wine),
• Pizza (only for dinner and on request),

SECURITY DEPOSIT:   € 150, - per each apartment to be paid in cash upon arrival or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard)

ARRIVAL : Saturday between 15.00 p.m. and 19.00 p.m.

DEPARTURE: Saturday before 10 a.m.
