Casa Morella is a recently built villa located in the countryside but just 1 km far from the centre of Marta, a wonderful little village of Etruscan origins on the shore of Lake Bolsena. The property has been restructured so that guests enjoy the indoors and outdoors in the best way possible. From the architectural point of view the characteristic wooden trusses, typical of the old country dwellings, stand out in the spacious living area. This property accommodates every need of the clients; lovers of peace and quiet can take long walks along the lake shore and enjoy a still uncontaminated landscape whilst culture lovers can visit the numerous villages of the Tuscia region such as Civita di Bagnoregio, Bomarzo, Tuscania, the splendid town of Viterbo, famous for its baths, or else go into Umbria to Orvieto.
INTERIOR
The horseshoe-shaped house stands on just one floor. The main entrance, situated under a portico, leads directly into the living area. This area of the house, which stretches along its whole length, is divided into living room with TV, dining area and kitchen. The front yard and the patio overlooking the countryside can be reached from both the dining and the living room. The living area is completed by a toilet and two corridors on to which open the four double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom with shower. One of the corridors leads to a room with washing machine.
Equipment: Satellite Tv, DVD player, stereo with CD reader, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, american coffee machine, espresso coffee machine, moka, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, mosquito screens (not on the windows doors), fans, baby cot, USB internet key connection, mobile barbecue.
EXTERIOR
The whole property measures about 6 hectares with part cultivated with olive trees. The garden around the villa is about 3500 square metres and is covered by lawn with olives alternating attractively with many-coloured flowers. The paved patio next to the living area, with gazebo, table and chairs, is the ideal spot for dining in the open air whilst admiring the surrounding panorama. The portico is furnished with a wooden suite where guests can relax at sunset.
POOL
The entirely fenced-in pool (presently still in the final stages of construction) is about 15 metres from the house and is situated on the same level. Rectangular in shape, it measures 13 x 6 m with a depth varying from 1.25 to 1.35 m. Entrance to the water is by large steps and it has a resin lining. The solarium area is paved and provided with gazebo, sun beds and cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Services not included (to be paid on site): extra when animals are present (€ 30,00 per animal per week).

LOCATION
The pretty village of Marta stands on the shores of the lake of Bolsena (the largest lake in Europe of volcanic origin with pristine waters, suitable throughout for swimming). It offers a suggestive walk from the tourist port to the fishing village with its characteristic boats. The historical centre, among the most beautiful and well preserved of the whole Viterbo area, rises up to the medieval tower with a particular octagonal shape and a courtyard overlooking a breathtaking landscape. Within an area of 40 km are easily reached places full of history and culture such as Viterbo, Orvieto, Tarquinia, Montefiascone, Bomarzo, Civita di Bagnoregio, Bolsena, Tuscania and many other centres of interest in the Tuscia region. Delicious fish dishes, of lake and sea, can be sampled in the restaurants of the area.
