Casale Nena, an old recently renovated stone and brick farmhouse, rises in the midst of olive trees, close to the beautiful Villas “Torrigiani”, “Brughier” and “Mansi”, to the attractive villages of Segromigno Monte, Tofori, Gragnano, San Gennaro and Montecarlo, and a few kilometers from the tree-lined walls of the town of Lucca. The two-storey villa is characterized by large indoor and outdoor spaces and, thanks to its westerly exposure, has sun all day long. The property is immersed in an olive grove even though the back faces on to a secondary road leading to the village of Tofori. Its position allows guests to enjoy a relaxing holiday with the possibility of taking long walks among the wonderful villas and hills or of visiting the well-known towns of Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano, Carrara (the town of marble) and the Cinque Terre, all easily reachable both by car and train.
INTERIOR
The house has two floors. The ground floor is composed of a lounge, a large living area divided into kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. A terracotta staircase leads up from the main entrance to the first floor composed of three double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, two bathrooms with tub and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Equipment: air conditioning (only two bedrooms), ADSL connection, satellite TV, DVD player, HI-FI with CD, dishwasher, washing machine, grinder, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, cot, high chair, microwave, kettle, barbecue, toaster, American coffee machine, mixer, moka, mosquito screens, fans.
OUTDOORS
The property extends for about 3000 sq meters of almost completely flat land, entirely fenced in and planted with olive trees. The courtyard of the house, paved in terracotta, is furnished with a large umbrella which gives shade to a table with chairs, ideal for open air dining.
POOL
The rectangular-shaped pool, just a few meters from the house, blends in well with the countryside; it measures 6 x 12 m with a depth varying from 1.10 to 2.20 m. Access to the water is by ladder and it has salt purification. The solarium area is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas and a pergola. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.
