CASALE SCANSANO is a nice villa located on the gentle hills of the Maremma countryside facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. The panoramic position of Casale Scansano offers guests a unique view of olive trees, vineyards and fields of sunflowers.
The property has been carefully renovated maintaining the original characteristics with wooden beams, terracotta arches and floors. Thanks to its strategic position, Casale Scansano will satisfy the different tastes of various clients. Country lovers can relax in natural surroundings sipping a glass of the famous red wine Morellino di Scansano whilst seaside lovers can reach the beautiful Tuscan beaches in just a few minutes.
Interior
The property is composed of two floors. The villa is situated on terracing with the main entrance on the first floor which leads to the dining room, sitting room with ornamental fireplace and kitchen. A corridor from the sitting room leads to the sleeping area composed of two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with tub and one with shower. From the sitting room one can go out to a panoramic porch and to the stairs leading to a wing of the ground floor (this staircase will be ready in the 2011 season). The stairs lead down to a kitchenette with fireplace. From here a door leads to two communicating double bedrooms and bathroom with shower. The rooms also have access to the outside.
Garden
The property covers about 20 hectares. The garden is about 3000 square metres and has a lawn, olive trees, fruit trees and various types of flowers. The garden is accessed from the ground floor through a large verandah furnished with tables and chairs, soccer billiard table and ping pong table. Guests on the first floor are provided with a gazebo furnished with table and chairs.
Swimming Pool
The oval shaped pool is about 10 m from the villa and is available to guests from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. It is 6 x 12 m and has a constant depth of 1,50 m. The water is entered by a ladder, it has blue PVC facing and terracotta border. The surrounding area is equipped with two gazebos, deckchairs, sun loungers and outdoor, cold water shower.
