Antico Podere is an antique stone farmhouse, recently restored, where "old times" atmosphere can be felt.  Thanks to modern technology, this beautiful property is a perfect and refined destination for those who want to relax without having to give up the comforts of the XXI century.
The villa is located about 8 km far from Arezzo and offers a wide and splendid view of the city with its towers, churches, the cathedral and the medieval walls.
Antico Podere is part of a farm, specializing in the organic production of wine, olive oil, honey and saffron. The house is surrounded by 20 acres of land.
In the same property,  in addition to the villa with private pool and garden,  there is also a restaurant with typical Tuscan dishes,  at about 500 meters and the owners' house.
Both the restaurant, with parking, and the owner's house are located sufficiently far from the villa and do not disturb guests' privacy.

INTERIOR

Antico Podere is a detached house with ancient origins which has been tastefully renovated and offers all modern comforts.

It has five tastefully decorated bedrooms, all with private bathroom and an additional "connecting" room with sofa bed. The hall can also be reached by a staircase from the ground floor
By entering into the ground floor of the house, through the porch equipped for al fresco dinners, there is a direct access to the dining room with a comfortable large wooden table.
On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen fully equipped and with access to the terrace, a living room with sofa, fireplace and direct access to the garden, 1 double bedroom with en suite, 1 double room with private bathroom, laundry, 1 bathroom with shower.

The first floor is accessible  by the internal and by the external staircase. There are two double bedrooms and one twin room, all with private bath.  Two of these rooms have a fireplace in the room for romantic moments and direct access to a terrace equipped with chairs.
All rooms have large windows with breathtaking views. The old terracotta floors and ceilings with wooden beams and stone walls give the house a special and friendlly atmosphere.

GARDEN AND POOL

The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with well cared roses, oleanders and other typical Tuscan vegetation.

Not far from the villa (below the villa), there is a kitchen garden where guests can pick fresh seasonal vegetables directly.  In addition, the Farm's Shop sells homemade products and local wines from the estate as well as fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs and honey.

The pool (80 square meters, depth 1.50 m) is about 10 meters distant  from the house with wonderful views.  It has been equipped with deckchairs, parasols and a covered gazebo. The pool water is heated by a solar system and iit can be therefore also used in the coldest seasons.
The property overlooks the entire valley where you can admire beautiful sunsets and starry skies.

About 500 meters far from the villa, there is the cellar of the estate and the restaurant, where you can order dishes of the typical Tuscan cuisine "à la carte menu" or full menus. Furthermore, the modern kitchen of the restaurant is ideal for organizing cooking classes or wine tastings.

SERVICES INCLUDED:
Electricity, water, cooking gas, initial and final cleaning, linen and towels (weekly change), maintenance and cleaning of swimming pool, parking, Wi-Fi internet access, solar heated swimming pool. Towels for the pool. Clean between Wednesday and Saturday. Welcome dinner on arrival.

COMPULSORY SERVICES NOT INCLUDED (to be paid locally directly to the owner): pets allowed (€ 40, - per week / animal).

SERVICES ON REQUEST (to be paid to the owner): extra cleaning (12, - € per hour / cleaning), extra linen (15, - € per person), private chef, heating (on consumption for the period of stay according to current price during the stay), firewood (20, - € per quintal), babysitting service, sofa bed 25, - € per person per night.

It is an ideal place to visit ancient castles and famous wineries, picturesque landscapes and villages through the country roads. The area also offers many events throughout the year. In the autumn season, the harvest of olives and grapes can be an exciting activity to practice.
