Podere Aia is situated in a strategic position, at the convergence of the four valleys of Valdichiana, Valdarno, Valtiberina and Casentino. A holiday in this property will allow guests to plan easy daytrips to the most beautiful places of central Italy.
The house stretched out on a natural terrace has access either from the ground floor or from the first floor. The furnishing, functional and comfortable, contributes to give to the house a really particular charm and enchantment. Podere Aia is immersed on the green hills that surround the city of Arezzo rich of ancient origins and traditions and worldwide known for its renowned goldsmith's art, for the historical re-enactment of the Saracen Joust, which twice a year brings the town back to the time of the wars against the Saracens armies. Arezzo is also visited every first Sunday of each month for the Antiques Fair by thousands of visitors walking through the medieval streets of the historical centre.
INTERIOR
FIRST FLOOR: going up three steps and through a small loggia wide dining-living room with sofas and fireplace, small connnecting sitting room, bathroom with shower and double bedroom. From the sitting room we enter the kitchen with fireplace and from here a double bedroom with large panoramic balcony. An internal spiral staircase in the kitchen leads to the ground floor living-room.
GROUND FLOOR: living-room with fireplace and double sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom with shower.

OUTDOOR
Podere Aia is surrounded by olive groves and luxuriant woods with long and strengthening paths ideal for strolls towards the Alpe of Poti. All around the house a wide garden equipped with gabezo and outdoor furniture to eat and relax in the quietness and peacefullness of the place while admiring the splendid view on Arezzo and the neighbouring valleys.
In a sunny and panoramic natural terrace the beautiful pool (size 5x10 mt, depth 1,40 mt).

POSITION
The location of the Podere Aia is quiet and comfortable. The house is set on the panoramic hill of Pomaio where you will find the nice Romanesque San Lorenzo church, dated back to XII century, and the remains of an ancient abbey, founded in 1645 by two monks from Vallombrosa, which today lodges a lovely restaurant where to eat typical Tuscan dishes.
This nice holiday home is an ideal location to discover Tuscany and Umbria. Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Florence, Pisa, Perugia and Rome can also be easily reached as well as Montepulciano, Pienza, Sinalunga, Monte San Savino, Lucignano, etc.
It is an ideal place to visit ancient castles and famous wineries, picturesque landscapes and villages through the country roads.
