Tenuta Vecchia Fonte is a wonderful structure located amidst the greenery hills of the beautiful Tuscany, on the border of the Chianti Classico area. The property offers breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside.
The restaurant, inside the property, offers a delicious menu with the most tasty dishes and wines of the Tuscan tradition.
The estate consists of three independent houses "Rosa", "Ginestra" and "Margherita" composed by 15 apartments (5 apartments with 2 bedrooms, 7 apartments with 3 bedrooms, 3 apartments with 4 bedrooms) with “cotto” floors and ceilings with exposed wooden beams.
Each apartment has its own private entrance and garden or terrace. The elegantly furnished apartments have en-suite bathrooms in all bedrooms and all the bathrooms are faced with superior marbles. Designed to ensure guests’ privacy, the groundfloor apartments have a direct exit to the garden from each room in order to keep the total freedom and independence of each individual guest.
Heating, air conditioning and satellite TV are provided in each apartment to provide guests with the comfort of all modern facilities while maintaining, at the same time, the atmosphere of the ancient Tuscan tradition.
Guests at Tenuta Vecchia Fonte can choose between many varied itineraries to be explored on foot, by bike or by car. Casole d'Elsa, a medieval village which dominates of the hill, is only 800 meters away from the property.
Just a few kilometres away (a 15 minute drive) from our Resort you can also find a riding stable for splendid horse rides and golf enthusiasts, at Colle di Val d'Elsa, will find a 6-hole practice course.
From the peacefulness of Tenuta Vecchia Fonte, it is easy to reach the most important old town centres of Tuscany: Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Volterra, Pisa, the Tuscan Coast….

Every room, besides the living room, has an independent exit onto the garden to avoid passing through the shared rooms, thereby ensuring the privacy and complete freedom of every single guest.
These apartments offer a spacious Private Garden with Gazebo furnished with table and chairs for dining outdoors and spending enjoyable moments of Relax. The guests can also use a shared masonry Barbecue (there are 3 barbecues, one for each Farmhouse).
First floor apartments (45 sqm) – sleeps: 2+2

This apartment features a 60 m2 spacious and beautiful stone Terrace with precious wood Veranda furnished with table, chairs and sun beds. The ideal place from which to enjoy the marvellous landscape of the Tuscany countryside and privacy for a romantic dinner beneath the stars accompanied by a glass of excellent Chianti Wine.
Guests can use a shared masonry Barbecue for outdoor use (there are 3 barbecues, one for each Farmhouse).

GARDEN
Tenuta Vecchia Fonte, surrounded by 4 acres of park, has three landscaped pools with chlorine-electrolysis disinfection system, one of them with Jacuzzi seats and one for children. The pools are equipped with a large solarium in travertine with umbrellas and sunbeds.
Among the many services at guests disposal, the residence has ample parking (covered parking spaces and places in the shade), free use of mountain bikes, shared laundry room with washing machine and ironing, barbecue for outdoor grilling, small park playground children with slide, small wooden house, football, Badminton and Volley area and other games
POOLS
Tenuta Vecchia Fonte offers its guests four beautiful salt water swimming pools.
The panoramic swimming pools works with a chlorine-electrolysis disinfecting system.
The heated relax pool is available on payment.
The largest pool is 16m x 8m. The pool with Whirlpool is 9m x 8m and has seats at the sides for back massage with a specific underwater jet for feet and legs too.
The children’s pool is 25 m2. They’ll also have a lot of fun in the children’s area with games, sand box, slide and swing with anti-shock tiles for their safety.
The spacious solarium for relaxing moments to enjoy the benefits of the sun is in travertine and equipped with beach umbrellas and sun beds.
The pergolas at the swimming pool offer pleasant hours sheltered from the sun, enjoying the shade to relax, sleep, read a book or simply enjoying your holidays in Tuscany.
