Villa Antella is a splendid villa situated in the Tuscan hillside only 12 km from Florence. The villa is on three floors, and is internally decorated with refined traditional materials such as “cotto”, parquet and wooden ceiling beams. The furnishings of this property have been carefully chosen by the proprietor and represents the ideal match of antique and modern, which is mixed to ensure refined comfort in a functional manner.
Villa Antella is the perfect starting point to go on the discovery of the beautiful cultural, historical and characteristic Tuscany, and given it’s strategic positioning, only a few minutes from the centre of Florence and the major road networks this allows its guests to use this villa as the base for daily excursions to the major Tuscan centres or for romantic evenings in the heart of Florence.
INTERIOR
The villa is composed of three floors.
The GROUND FLOOR has 2 different entrances and is composed by:
a large living room with fireplace, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with hydro-massage bath tub. From the living room, there is an access to the dining room with kitchen corner on the left. In the kitchen corner, there is a door which leads to the staircase that goes into the cantina. The floor is completed by a service bathroom with washing machine.
On the right hand side of the main entrance of the villa there is the staircase which allows access to the FIRST FLOOR.
At the top of the stairs there is a small hall, that leads on the left side to a large living room with fireplace, at the end of which there is a small study area. In front of the living room a corridor leads to two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with hydro-massage bath tub. Also from the living room there is an access into the kitchen/dining room.
From the hall, a spiral staircase leads to the SECOND FLOOR into the tower. The tower includes: reading room, small library, a bathroom with shower and via a few steps a double bedroom. From the hall going down the spiral staircase you reach the laundry room.
GARDEN
The villa is immersed in the green Tuscan hillsides and surrounded by olives groves. Via a gravel road leading from the villa, guests can take walks through the forest of Fontesanta. In the garden with cypresses and roses, there are at your disposal numerous areas equipped for pure relax, where one can find a gracious patio with barbecue, and table and chairs, ideal for “al fresco” meals, table tennis and table soccer.
POOL
Open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October, the pool distances 20 meters from the villa and is harmoniously inserted in the properties garden. The pool is rectangular shaped and measures 14 x 7 m with a maximum depth of 2,40 m with a small semi-circled area measuring 1,5 m in diameter with a maximum depth of 0,80 m ideal for small children. The border of the pool is in “Santa Fiora” stone and surrounded by a beautifully kept lawn, equipped with sun lounges, table and chairs, hammocks and umbrellas. The pool also has an external heated shower and a wooden changing room next to the pool itself.
EQUIPMENT: Satellite TV, DVD, air conditioning (in the bedrooms but NOT in the tower), mosquito screens only on the upper floor, cell phone, internet ADSL, dishwasher, oven, toaster, moka, mixer, blender, washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, barbecue, table tennis.

The villa is situated at about 800 m. from the village of Antella, on a hill facing the valley. Florence is easily reachable also by public bus being at only 12 km from there. The Exit A1 Firenze Sud at few km makes the location ideal to tour all around central Italy. The railway station of Florence is also ideal to move yourself all around Italy.
