The Villa has been built into a hill of white marble, which internally has been exposed in various rooms. Villa Design has been designed over three levels with floor to ceiling windows positioned to capture the breathtaking panorama over Lucca.

The property consists of 10 hectares of olive groves and woods located on the nearest Lucca hills, 200m above the city, just at 10 minutes. The Villa and the pool are real jewels of contemporary architecture and technology immersed in the Tuscan nature.

INTERIORS

The architecture of the villa is very bright and transparent, but at the same time is in total harmony with nature which is omnipresent. In the lower level guests can find the main entrance, powder room, hall closet space and a large laundry room. The main level opens on a large and brighting open space set of a the living area with fireplace, dining area and a corner kitchen; a bathroom is at disposal of one double bedroom with private access to the pool and to the terrace area. This bedroom is only available in july and august.

A dazzling staircase leads to the upper level where is set the night area. There are one master bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and Roman bathtub, two double bedrooms and a guest bathroom with shower. Architecture, furniture, lamps, sculptures, almost everything has been conceived, designed and custom made for the villa by their owners. The two wings of the roof of the villa open on 30° like the wings of a butterfly. This will probably be the first house in the world whose roof opens. This allows natural ventilation to cool the house and brings to the villa a very unique magic sensation, while sleeping under the stars remaining in the house.

OUTSIDE

Villa Design has many unique features, one of which is the swimming pool with its vanishing-edge effect and elongated design of 26 meters in length with an area of 70 square meters and whirlpool. The swimming pool has a fixed depth of 1.20m. It includes an area of 16m lengths for swimming, another larger area for playing and an hydro massage area; at any point in the pool, as well as from its terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.
The access to the villa is through a 500 metres gravel road and along the main road the maximum width is 2mt.

 

The price includes: towels and linen, electricity, water, gas for kitchen use, midweek cleaning, Internet WI-FI, final cleaning.

The price does not include: heating (on consumption).
