Villa Marsalina rises on a very attractive shoreline in a zone known as contrada Spagnola, just outside the reserve of the Stagnone. This area is famous for its salt flats and the Phoenician island of Mothia where excavations began at the beginning of the 19th century by the Englishman Giuseppe Whitaker. Villa Marsalina is only 6 km from the town of Marsala and is very close to the beaches. By hiring a small motorboat you can visit the island of Mothia and also the Egadi Islands. Less than an hour’s car ride will take you to the medieval towns of Erice, Scodello and San Vito Lo Capo and to the ruins of Segesta and Selinunte. Villa Marsalina is a fascinating 19th century semi-detached house to spend an unforgettable holiday in. It consists of a ground floor, a mezzanine floor and a second floor and has the use of two gardens.
