If so, then a visit to the region of Emilia Romagna is an absolute must, as this is where you will find the terra dei motori, or in English, the \u2018<strong>motor valley<\/strong>\u2019. This supercar production district has lots of different museums, showrooms and factories to visit, and anyone with even a slight interest in fast, powerful motor vehicles will be in their element here!<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe big Italian names which have their home here in the motor valley are <strong>Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani<\/strong>. In the areas of <strong>Modena, Maranello and Sant\u2019Agata Bolognese <\/strong>you will find all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.italydreamvillas.com\/\">manner of places to check out your favourite fast cars<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>One of the most visited museums is the <strong>Museo Ferrari<\/strong>, located in Maranello. Here you\u2019ll be able to see a fantastic collection, including F1 cars and prototypes. You can have an expert private guide lead you around, and even thought it costs a bit extra, it\u2019s definitely worth it. There\u2019s a bus tour of the Fiorano race track available too. Over in Modena there\u2019s also the Casa Enzo Ferrari; a fairly recently opened  6000 metres squared museum which tells the story of Ferrari and also has an fascinating collection of cars. There are interesting documentary films to watch on big screens as well as photos, other temporary exhibits and an F1 simulator. The building itself is also impressive , with the design gallery exterior being a bright Ferrari yellow. <\/p>\n<p>If <strong>Lamborghini <\/strong>is more your thing, then why not visit the <strong>Lamborghini Museum and Factory<\/strong> in Sant\u2019Agata Bolognese. Check out a wonderful collection of supercars in the museum\u2019s beautiful showroom. Opened in 2001, this collection of vintage and newer models receives visitors from all over the world, and also offers visits to the factory assembly line. Guided tours cost extra but are the best way to learn about the gorgeous Lamborghini. <\/p>\n<p>Over near Ferrara, you\u2019ll find the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum, run by Fabio Lamborghini. This <strong>exclusive museum<\/strong> tells you not only about the <strong>history of the cars<\/strong>, but also offers a wonderful insight into the Lamborghini family. Admittance to this stylish space is only available on request.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Modena <\/strong>you\u2019ll also find the<strong> Museo Panini<\/strong> which hold a fine collection of Maserati cars owned by Umberto Panini. There are a variety of models to see, including some of the older cars from the 1930 and 1950s, as well as other unique and rare models. Visits to this fine collection are available on request.<br \/>\n<strong>San Cesario sul Panaro <\/strong>is home to the smaller but just as fascinating Pagani showroom and factory.
