In the surroundings of Cortona, one of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany, lies the Agriturismo Vista Cortona,  situated in the valley Valdichiana.

This treasure hidden in the heart of Tuscany and the descreet hospitality of the ancient country houses, where the country tradition and the familiar atmosphere let the guests feel at home , make this oasis of peace an enchanting place for those who like the true flavours, the strong scents, the thrills. Surrounded by fields with yellow sunflowers or with golden corn, in the ancient rural village of Fratticiola, in a quiet and panoramic position, here is the lovely old house which has recently been restored and divided in comfortable apartments.

Agriturismo Vista Cortona has obtained from the ancient country house 7 apartments and a dependance and has furnished them according to the Tuscan tradition, with all comforts, ideal for the family, for the couple and groups. In the large garden there is the pool with beds, beach chairs, umbrellas for our guests and next to the pool a large wooden gazebo for your rest in the shade.

Inside the main house, there is  a large, comfortable and stylish sitting room with a big fireplace. This room is meant for parties and for the wine testing, wine and oil produced according to ancient methods at the Agriturismo and the laboratories are open to those who want to visit them. 

The Agriturismo offers different equipments for the guests : ping pong, equipment for trekking, for volleyball and soccer, mounting bikes.

INTERIOR

Agriturismo Vista Cortona is divided into 7 comfortable apartments equipped with full respect of the Tuscan tradition.

Apartment Rita - 2  sleeps

Ground floor apartment of about 35 mq. L 'apartment has a lounge, kitchen, double bedroom with ensuite shower. 

Apartment Gina - 4 sleeps

First floor apartment with entrance from the outside scale with typical Tuscan loggia, composed of a living room with fireplace, kitchen, double bedroom with en suite shower room, bedroom, bathroom with tub. 

Apartment Vera - 5 sleeps

First floor apartment with entrance from the outside scale with typical Tuscan loggia, composed of a living room with fireplace, kitchen, double bedroom with en suite shower room and a single bed, double bedroom, bathroom with tub.

Apartment Spighe -  2 +2 sleeps

First floor apartment of 60 mq. with panoramic views over the pool and garden, as well as Cortona. L 'apartment has a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen furnished in Tuscan style, a large bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed (for children) and a bathroom. 

Apartment Giraluna - 4 sleeps

First floor apartment with separate entrance of about 75 mq.
L 'apartment has a lounge, a kitchen and two bedrooms with two bathrooms with shower. 
 

Apartment Liso - 2  sleeps

Second floor apartment of 35 mq. L 'apartment has a living room with fireplace, a kitchen and a bedroom with ensuite shower. 

Apartment Mino - 2  sleeps

Second floor apartment of 35 mq. L 'apartment has a lounge, a kitchen and a bedroom with ensuite shower.

Dependance Sogni - 4 sleeps

Dependence in stone, recently restructured, is situated on the ground floor of 70 sqm. with separate entrance. The outbuilding consists of a lounge with fireplace, a kitchen in always in style, also features a master bedroom with 2 single beds and air conditioning, two bathrooms with shower, a closet.  Accessories: heating, air conditioning, television and other services.

EXTERIOR

Around the Farm has a large garden and a large swimming pool with sun beds, sun loungers and umbrellas for the exclusive use of our guests by the pool and a large wooden gazebo that offers its cool shade.

Accessories: ping pong, mountain bikes, equipment for hiking, volleyball and soccer.

The price includes: electricity (except air conditioning), gas for cooking, water,  sheets and towels with weekly change, internet Wi-Fi access, use of pool in open period

The price does not include (to be paid on the spot):  compulsory final cleaning Euro 250,  supplement for pets  € 30.00 per week (upon previous request only), Tourist Tax Euro 2 per person for 4 days per adult and per kids over 12 years old

On request (payable locally):   Breakfast, light lunch, typical tuscan dinner, tastings, cooking class (infos on the spot)

Security Deposit: € 750.00 to be paid cash on arrival

POSITION

In this green oasis you'll find the Agriturismo Vista Cortona, not far from Cortona and Arezzo. The Tuscan hills have smooth curbes and intense colors, only waiting to be admired in their, in the centuries, unchanged beauty. The perfumes coming from the countryside and life in slow motion, far from the “madding crowd” of the cities, are waiting for you. The country all round is typically rural and not far from here are places rich in historical, cultural and enogastronomical interest, as for the Etruscan Cortona, the medieval villages Castiglion Fiorentino and Lucignano but also the Montecchio Vesponi castle. From the Agriturismo it's easy to reach in a day trip (back and forth) other cities in Tuscany like Florence, Pisa, Arezzo, pre-Etruscan city and Siena, city of Roman origin, well known because of its famous “Palio”, Montepulciano, Montalcino,(wines) Pienza (Pecorino cheese), San Gimignano, Volterra, the Chianti but also cities of art from the next at hand region Umbria, like Perugia, the well known city rich in history, or Assisi, land of Saint Francis, Spello, Orvieto and more .

All these cities of art and lots of other attractions as medieval villages, museums, churches, cathedrals, monasteries, the wineries, the kermess, the parades in medieval costumes, the Antiquity fairs, the jazz festivals,the Wine roads, are visited all year round by thousands of tourists and together with the Tuscan hospitality, show the world the most interesting part of Tuscany.
