Al Podere del Monte is uniquely situated on the edge of the medieval hamlet Monte San Savino, in a peaceful panoramic position with views of 180° of the surrounding countryside. This ancient home has been finely and elegantly restored with every modern comfort and lies in a peaceful position and at the same time is just 300 mts from the hamlet and the buzz of everyday life, where you will find all amenities and non the less, artistic and historical treasures.

The villa is ideally situated in the triangle of Cortona, Siena & Arezzo all of which are within easy reach. The area is rich in art, culture and history, an area which hasn't lost it's ancient tradition and where you will be taken back in time as you wonder along the country roads immersed in the splendid Tuscan scenery, interrupted only by the ancient towns where you can savour the culinary arts of Tuscany.

Me and my family loved staying at Al podere del monte. Nice and cozy house, great garden with a beautiful view and a very large pool. Letizia, Dino and their family are great hosts, big compliments for the pizza party. Also great location. Definitely reccomend staying here!

Great house, great location, wonderful pool and jacuzzi. Dino, Letizia and their family were great hosts, the Pizza night was amazing. Communication via Monika was alsways quick and easy. 10/10 recommend!

Place is better than the reviews and pictures can describe. Visited here with 8 friends flying in from Hong Kong and NYC. 100% do the pizza night. Dino and Latitzia were amazing and made us the best pizza we had in the area. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time in Podere al Monte in Monte San Savino.
When we arrives we were welcomed by Monika and the owner, who brought us his own wine.

Beautiful house&swimmingpool-and view-great location close to a small village with some shops-restaurants-coffebars-icecream-mini markets.
Lot’s of privacy in the house when you are with a group!
One night the friendly owner and his wife came over to make us pizza’s!
We also made a visit to a local vinyard,Which was absolute worthwhile.

We definitely will come back

We had a lovely stay at this rustic villa. The hosts were there when we arrived and welcomed us their house wine and pastries. The layout of the villa means not all rooms have attached bathrooms but for a family it will work fine. We enjoyed the swimming pool and there is lots of green space around to wander within the property. Air-conditioning was good to have and there are 2 living rooms to hang out in. The villa has a charming old house feel such as high beds, fireplace, outdoor metal dining table and even an old piano. So if you go in expecting a relaxed vibe then you will have a great time.

A true Italian house! Amazing views, outdoor and entertainment spaces. Really well maintained. Great hosts and best night pizza ever! Easy access to highways for Tuscany trips. Highly recommend!

Amazing location tucked away just outside the walls of a not yet overly touristed Italian hill town. The property is kept in immaculate condition, and the wine and pizza that were shared with us by the property managers were above and beyond on the hospitality front. Highly recommend this property!

Una esperienza magnifica. Posto perfetto per famiglie allargate e vacanze con amici. Tutti sono stati sempre super disponibili per accomodare le nostre esigenze. La vista è incantevole e la piscina è stata apprezzata da tutti specialmente dai bambini. Consiglierei questo posto senza pensarci due volte.

INTERIORS

The ground floor and first floor have both access to the garden.
Ground Floor: sitting dining room with fireplace, kitchen/dining room, bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedroom (can be made into double).

First Floor: Sitting room with fireplace, 2 double bedrooms with air conditioning, bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub and hand shower and air conditioning, 1 single bedroom with air conditioning. (the single bedroom can be given access to the en-suite bathroom in the double bedroom via a communicating door.)

Second Floor: 1 double bedroom with air conditioning, small mezzanine with small sitting room/studio.

Accessori: Internet WIFI, BBQ, Sat TV, firewood oven, bedrooms with Air Condition, heated jacuzzi

OUTSIDE

The villa is surrounded by large well cared for gardens and olive groves and as you relax around the 13 x 5 mt pool you will again enjoy the magnificent panorama. Inserted in a stone terrace in front of the pool there is a 2 x 2,50 m large Jacuzzi hot tube with 3 seats and 3 lounge seats and with Led chromotherapy.

The price includes: final cleaning, electricity, air conditioning, water, gas for cooking, internet wi-fi, bed linen and towels with weekly change, pool towels, 1 cot and high chair (to be ordered at time of booking), use of pool from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October

The price does not include: extra charge for pets (5 Euro each one per night), Tourist tax when applicable (further details on the spot if requested)

On request: heating costs according to consumption and market prices, additional change of bed linen and towels (12,00 Euro per person), additional cleaning (15,00 Euro per hour / cleaner), additional Cot and high chair , extra change of pool towels (3,00 Euro each one), firewood (20,00 Euro per 100 kg), extra bed 150,- Euro/person/week

NOTE

A friendly, complementary 'Pizza Night', at the villa, is offered to guests (upon previous request) where the freshly made pizza will be prepared at the villa.

Security deposit: €500,00 deposit in cash on the arrival
