Amarena  is an old, stone farmhouse, wisely restored and situated on an extremely panoramic position, 751 m on the sea level, being part of the very small hamlet of Cantalena Alta.

This house  is the ideal place for those who wish to spend a vacation far from the busy city life, in close contact with nature.

The beautiful town of Cortona, with its stone lanes, Rugapiana and the Church of Santa Margherita, and the medieval village of Castiglion Fiorentino are both around 15 km away and endowed with shops and all services.

Amarena can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. Especially the first time it may be a little difficult, but once you get there you will understand that it is worth making a little effort to admire such a beautiful view. The furnishings are simple but comfortable and match the characteristics of the house.

INTERIOR

GROUND FLOOR: porch equipped with table and chairs to dine outside, entrance on a wide living-dining room with kitchen corner, sofas, fireplace and tv, laundry room.
FIRST FLOOR: with access through internal staircase, double bedroom with panoramic balcony, twin bedroom, bathroom with bathtub. Possibility to add one single bed in the double bedroom.

• Fridge with freezer compartment, oven, small electric oven, dishwasher, espresso coffee maker
• Toaster, filter coffee maker, microwave, iron and ironing board

Green woods, steep hills and cultivated countryside frame this beautiful house with a large, fully-fenced outdoor area where you can relax in the beautiful private swimming pool (size 7x4 mt, depth 1.20-1.50 mt - open from 01st May to 30th September) and in the porch furnished with table, chairs and barbecue.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 250 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. 
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 110.
Heating Euro 15 per day (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 6 each per day and also includes kennel, bowls and a toy.
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
