Antica Fornace is built in an old furnace dating back to the 17th century where, for years, bricks and tiles were produced by mixing the precious clay of this area, bearing the 'Fornace di Armaiolo' mark in plain sight. 

Thanks to a patient and careful restoration, the old furnace has been transformed into a welcoming and charming villa. You will be enchanted by the large brick arches, the vaults, the ceilings with the old wooden beams and the travertine stone of the external walls that make it unique, like all the old Tuscan houses.
The furnishings are very nice and particular. The kitchen set in the old, large fireplace, woven baskets, ceramics and copper utensils hanging on the walls, the antique granite sink, the antique furniture in the living room on the upper floor and the bedrooms with warm and welcoming colours and wrought iron beds, make the villa very characteristic and above all very hospitable, you will feel at home.
Not far from the house there is the motorway Siena - Bettolle that will allow you to reach the city of Siena in just 15 minutes and Florence and Arezzo in less than 1 hour, the house is therefore an excellent starting point if you want to visit Tuscany.

A few kilometres away is the spa town of Rapolano Terme. Here, in addition to your shopping in groceries and supermarkets, you can take refuge in the town's two spas. Mud baths, massages, pools with hot sulphurous water in wellness centres set in the most incredible landscape of the Sienese countryside. Moments of relaxation, tranquillity and regeneration for you and your friends, not only for body and mind but also for the eyes.
The historic village of Rapolano, located just above the spas, on a high hill overlooking the valley, will certainly be the destination of your evenings out for dinner, in the company of friends, Tuscan cuisine and local wine, in one of the characteristic trattorias of the village.

INTERIOR

GROUND FLOOR: kitchen-dining room, small sitting room and boiler room with washing machine.
FIRST FLOOR: easy access via an internal wooden staircase or directly from the garden which is at a higher level (swimming pool level), large and bright sitting-room with fireplace, three double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom with shower and twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. The four bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

GARDEN-SWIMMINGPOOL:
Around the villa there is a large and well-kept green area. From the beautiful swimming pool (size 6x12m, depth 1,20-1,80m - open from 01st May to 30th September), situated in the highest part of the garden and equipped with gazebo and deckchairs, you can enjoy the enchanting view of the fourteenth-century village of Armaiolo and the surrounding countryside.

To the side of the villa is a large covered gazebo equipped with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying the cool summer evenings or even lunches and dinners when you decide to stay at home and enjoy the pool and garden.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 250 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay).During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. 
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 200.
Heating Euro 5 per m3 (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
Air conditioning in the bedrooms Euro 100 per week (if used).
Wood for fireplace Euro 20 each 100 kg (if used).
If ordered in advance swimming towels available on payment of Euro 5 each.
Tourist tax Euro 1,50 per person per day, applied for the first 3 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
