Borgo Vecchio is a beautiful farmhouse on the high hills that separate the green Valdichiana from the Tiber Valley, located on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. It is the ideal place for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday, in close contact with nature and far from the noise and bustle of the cities.

Moreover, thanks to its position, 600 m above sea level and the large stone walls, the house, even on the hottest summer days, guarantees a cool and comfortable temperature inside, especially on the ground floor.

The Etruscan town of Cortona in Tuscany and the village of Trestina in Umbria are both about 18 km away, while restaurants and small shops for basic necessities can be reached within 5 or 10 km.

The house is well furnished with Tuscan style furniture.  Possibility to taste and buy excellent extra virgin olive oil, wine and other typical products. Since the house is located in a quite secluded position and in order not to miss a single minute of your holiday, for the day of arrival it is possible to request a shopping service with home delivery (to be agreed before arrival).

INTERIOR

GROUND FLOOR: Large dining room with stone walls, kitchen and wc.
 

FIRST FLOOR: Accessible only from an outside stone staircase, there is a sitting room with stone fire place, four double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower.
 

ATTIC: with access by an internal staircase on get to a walk-through sitting room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath.
 

DEPENDANCE: small stone house set on two levels next to the manor's house. On ground floor small living-dining room and on first floor double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. Possibility to add two single beds in the bedrooms.

EQUIPMENT:

• Refrigerator with freezer, high chair, dishwasher, oven, toaster, juicer, filter coffee maker, blender, capsule coffee machine, microwave 
• Washing machine, iron, table tennis, bowling green

OUTDOOR

You can spend your holiday days bathing in the swimming pool (size 6 x 12 m - depth 1.20-2.40 m, completely fenced in), playing table tennis and enjoying tasty lunches and dinners in the cool gazebo furnished with tables and chairs next to the barbecue and wood-burning oven. Even the youngest children will have fun on the swing and slide.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. 
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away
Heating Euro 6 per m3 (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each one per day.
If ordered in advance swimming towels can be hired on site on payment of Euro 3 each.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Tourist tax Euro 2,50 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay. 
Sheets change Euro 5 per person.
Bath towels change Euro 5 per person.
