The wonderful holiday house CASA BERNI is a beautiful stone villa divided into two separate units which are part of an agritouristic farm including olive groves, woods, several fields and a small breeding of horses and ponies.

The property is only a few km away from the village of Sinalunga where you can find shops, restaurants and all kinds of services. Sinalunga, placed on a still untouched hill area is surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves which slope down to the Valdichiana-valley.

It is known for its excellent wine, olive oil and "Chianina" meat. The area is an ideal destination for those who love to discover the beautiful countryside and small, antique villages. In front of the villa there is a completely fenced in area where you can relax and organize meals.

For horse lovers, there is also an equestrian center on the property with the possibility of horse riding in the surrounding hills, both for beginners and more experienced riders.

Sehr geehrte Frau Wunderlich!
Das wunderschöne Häuschen würde von uns eine eins plus bekommen!! Als wir zuerst reinkamen ins Haus, dachten wir , es sei ganz neu erbaut und wir seien die ersten Gäste dort! So sauber, ordentlich , sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet ! Die Vermieter so entgegenkommend, hilfsbereit und nett, jeden Morgen wurde der sehr saubere Pool gesäubert, die Gartenanlage war sehr natürlich gepflegt , unser Vermieter stach uns frischen Salat ab, wenn wir wollten. Wir durften das Basilikum benutzen, 2 Mal verwöhnte uns die Vermieterin mit einer köstlichen Tiramisu!!! Das riesige Gelände war komplett eingezäunt, so dass unser Hund sich frei bewegen konnte, alles war ein Traum! Die Zwischenwände waren zwar sehr hellhörig , aber
da wir zu viert 8 Betten zur Verfügung hatten, war das gar kein Problem!! Wir fühlten uns täglich wie in einem Traum!!!!!

This family run villa is exceptional. The owners have thought of everything you could need and were extremely welcoming. Upon arrival we had a platter of local meats and cheeses along with wine. The location is perfect for exploring the many hill top towns like montepulciano, Pienza and montalcino. It is only 10 minutes from the raccordo which gives easy access to Siena and Perugia. The villa is easy to find off a main road, it has a well- maintained man made road with gated access to the wonderful grounds. The pool is stunning; it is very large, very clean and has a waterfall, there is even a shower and an under water window! It is perfect for two smaller groups or one large group as it is two semi-detached houses with a canopied table and chairs for 8 outside along with a large bbq. It is very child-friendly with a play area, cot, high chair and air conditioning in the downstairs bedrooms. There is a large coop supermarket in Sinaluga and a huge outlet mall is only a 15 minute drive. We have been to Tuscany 5 times and this is the best place we have stayed in.

liebes Team Toskana Holiday,

liebe Frau Monika Wunderlich,

es ist mir ein Anliegen, Ihr nettes Schreiben zu beantworten…

Unsere Zeit in der Casa Berni in Sinalunga vom 29. August bis zum 12. September 2015 war einfach herrlich. Wir haben es sehr genossen, alles befand sich zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit. Das Haus, eingebettet in das herrliche Grundstück, war zur Erholung und für unsere Bedürfnisse einfach traumhaft. Die Einrichtung modern und blitzsauber, alles zweckmäßig, es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Swimmingpool gut in die Geländeform eingefügt, ebenso reinlichst gepflegt, so wie die ganze Anlage. Wir hatten nichts, aber auch gar nichts zu bemängeln. CC

Die Besitzerfamilie Luciano und Franka mit ihrer Tochter Erika sowie allen anderen sind überaus nett, sehr herzlich und sympathisch, alle waren stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Besonders nett fanden wir, dass uns unsere Gastgeberfamilie bei der Ankunft eine große Platte mit kalten toskanischen Speisen, einer Flasche Wein und Wasser begrüßten.

Ich kann sagen, dass wir, trotz mancher Sprachbarrieren, uns doch gut verständigen konnten, leider nicht in dem Ausmaß, als wenn wir fließend italienisch oder die Gastgeberfamilie fließend Deutsch sprechen konnten. Der Beschluss unsererseits ist gefasst, im Folgejahr bis zum nächsten Urlaub, zumindest einen Italienischkurs zu besuchen…JJ

Trotzdem, es war eine herrliche Zeit, wir erholten uns blendend, schauten uns sehr viel von Land und Leuten mit deren überwältigenden Kultur an.

Nicht zu vergessen ist die ausgezeichnete toskanische Küche, die wir, soweit es in 14 Tagen möglich war, mehr als genossen haben. In diesem Zusammenhang möchte ich hervor heben, dass uns unsere Gastgeberfamilie Franka und Luciano 2x mit landestypischen Speisen bekochte, inklusive der passenden Weinbegleitung. Wir hatten an diesen Abenden viel Spaß und Unterhaltung, lachten herzlich. Natürlich tauschten wir Namen und Adressen aus, beschlossen dass wir in Kontakt bleiben.

Frau Wunderlich, sehr gerne werden wir uns wieder an Sie wenden, der Wunsch ist da, in solch´ herrlicher Umgebung den Urlaub zu verbringen. Vermutlich im Januar oder Februar 2016 hören sie wieder von mir.

INTERIOR

The villa is divided into two separate units with independent entrances.
The first unit is composed on GROUND FLOOR by entrance from external porch on living-dining room with fireplace and kitchen corner, double bedroom and bathroom with Jacuzzi shower.
FIRST FLOOR: with access through wooden, internal staircase, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.
The second unit is composed on GROUND FLOOR by entrance from external porch on living-dining room with fireplace, double sofa bed and kitchen corner, double bedroom and bathroom with Jacuzzi shower.
FIRST FLOOR: with access through wooden, internal staircase, twin bedroom.
At the pool there are 2 bathrooms, both equipped with a washbasin, toilet and shower.

POOL AND GARDEN

In the large, completely fenced garden there are various corners for relaxing, reading or entertaining yourself. Small but precious spaces in the olive grove or in the little wood, where you can comfortably enjoy a bottle of wine, or eat outside on summer evenings.

The completely fenced private swimming pool (size mt. 14x6, depth mt. 1,00-2,40 - open from 01st May to 30th September) is finished off with a refreshing waterfall that will be fun for your children, and also has bathrooms and changing rooms available.

A small vegetable garden where you can pick your own fresh seasonal vegetables will give you the opportunity to put red tomatoes and green salad on the table every day.

Private pool is open from 01/05 to 30/09.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE :

Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 120.
Heating Euro 5 per hour per apartment (if used).
Pets are allowed on payment of Euro 6 each per day (small size only).
Horse riding available on request, on payment.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Air conditioning in the 2 ground floor bedrooms Euro 10 each bedroom per day.
Washing machine Euro 6 each use.
Tourist tax Euro 1 per person per day, children up to 14 years do not pay.
