Casa Lara is a cozy studio with separate entrance, located in a wing of the beautiful villa inhabited by the owners. The property, recently built and fully fenced, is located in the hills with panoramic views over the Chiana Valley and the beautiful Etruscan town of Cortona.

Casa Lara is located 1 km from the small village of Montagnano and about 8 km from Monte San Savino in the province of Arezzo.  This accomodation is the ideal destination for a couple or two people who wish to spend their holiday relaxing in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and visiting the top destinations of Tuscany and Umbria such as:  Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Cortona, Pienza, Montalcino, Castiglion del Lago, Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio and many others.

Casa Lara  is equipped with air conditioning hot / cold (to be paid separately on-site according to consumption) that will to ensure a pleasant vacation in summer and winter. The owners have also paid special attention to furnishings in a modern style to ensure guests all the comforts of modern living during their stay in the countryside of Arezzo.

Property Details

INTERIOR

Studio of 48 m2 situated on the ground floor. It is accessible through the main entrance located under the large portico of the villa and from the rear with direct access to the kitchen and the living/sleeping room.

The interior is a large open room composed by a fully equipped modern kitchen, table and chairs, living area with double sofa bed and the sleeping area with double bed (that can be separated by a curtain).  There is a small bathroom with shower.
Both the kitchen and the living area are equipped with large french-door.

EQUIPMENT: TV (with italian pay-tv programs), stereo / CD player, wireless Internet connection (Wi-Fi), air conditioning, fridge-freezer, oven, toaster, moka coffee maker, american coffee maker, a cot, barbecue, flyers (only at the windows), 2 mountain bikes

The beautiful swimming pool , open the whole year, is situated in a quiet and sunny position just a few meters  from Casa Lara and measures 6 x 12 m / Depth: from 1.10 to 1,70 m.

The use of the pool is shared with the owners who perfectly know how to be discreet and helpful with their guests. They are furthermore in charge of the maintenance and cleaning of the pool and garden.

NOTE: The owners have a cat and a cute dog named "Aron " (medium/large size) very gentle and polite that can sometimes greet guests during their stay at Casa Lara.

THE PRICE INCLUDES: linen changed weekly, n°.2 pool towels, water, electricity, gas for cooking, internet Wi-Fi, use  of garden and swimming pool.

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: final cleaning €50.00 fixed price, Euro 12/hour for extra cleaning, extra linen change 12 Euro / person, use of air conditioning cold / hot (according to consumption EUR 1,00 / kWh), wood (Euro 15/quintale).

POSITION

Montagnano is a small but active village of the Valdichiana Valley, which hosts the annual International Award of the National Theatre "Il Giogo" . This annual event presents to the spectators public situations, characters and dialectal expressions .... all typical of the agricultural world. There are many amateur theater groups coming from all over Italy and Europe, and the event, which takes place in summer, also offers gastronomic evenings to enhance the local products. In late September, Montagnano is once again flooded with booths and tables for the traditional appointment with the annual Fair and Festival of the Nana (= duck). During the event, the locals parade wear typical clothes of the 50/60 's together with the colors of the various districts of Montagnano.

... But the protagonist of this festival is its gastronomy with the famous Nana or "duck"and the many dishes of traditional local cuisine
