Casale I Gigli is a splendid property immersed in the greenery of the region of high Lazio, on the border with the regions of Umbria and Tuscany. The villa offers breathtaking views of Lake Bolsena and the enchanting medieval village of Montefiascone.
At about 2 km from the villa, on one side Lake Bolsena which is the largest volcanic lake in Europe and Lazio and one among the  italian lakes to be almost totally swimming. On the other side, Montefiascone, a splendid town rich in history with all kinds of services such as supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, etc.

The villa, situated in a dominant position within a fenced 11000 m2 plot, consists of four independent apartments. Each apartment has its own private terrace, equipped with tables and chairs for outdoor dining. On the roof of the villa there is a fantastic furnished terrace boasting spectacular panoramic views.

The composition of this structure allows groups and families to have their own spaces, although they can count on various common areas.

The pool area with breathtaking views is formed by a swimming pool and a second circular hydromassage pool, (multicolor lighting) large solarium area with umbrellas, deck chairs, tables, outdoor shower. The pool area also lends itself well to organizing events and private dinners

There is a second hydromassage pool with heated water in the solarium area located in front of the main entrance of the villa

Casale I Gigli is the ideal starting point to plan daily trips to the most well-known tourist destinations such as Civita di Bagnoreggio, Orvieto, Viterbo, Cerveteri and Tarquinia..... and Rome is only one hour drive from the villa!

If you wish, you will have the opportunity to reach Lake Bolsena by walking along the Via Francigena for about 2 km as pilgrims have been doing for centuries.  In mediaeval times it was an important road and pilgrimage route. The Via Francigena is an ancient road between Rome and Canterbury, passing through England, France, Switzerland and Italy. To pilgrims headed south, it was the Via Romea; to those headed north, the Via Francigena.

And last but not least, sea lovers can easily organize day trips to the nearby beaches of Montalto di Castro (52 km from the villa) or Tarquinia in North Latium or reach the tuscan clear waters of the Tuscan coast with the famous Porto Ercole, Talamone and Porto Santo Stefano

Casale I Gigli also offers the possibility of:

- using the GOLD room in Baroque style and about 80 m2 large  (upon previous request; with supplement to be established). The room is equipped with air conditioning / heating and is ideal for organizing celebrations such as weddings, birthdays or other events (we are available to help you organize your party; please send your request by email)

Annexed to the GOLD room, there is an equipped kitchen and it is possibile to book a personal chef upon request

- tasting the local wines (Il Giglio Rosso and Il Giglio Bianco) with local products in the "Cantina Dei Gigli", in the cellar-room of the villa,  close to the GOLD room

OUTDOOR

The pool measures 7.5 x 3.5 meters, with a depth of 1.4 meters and attached to the pool there is a wonderful hot tub perfect for children; Internet Wi-Fi is available throughout the terrace around the pool.

Both the pool and hot tub are available from May to September.

          are included in the rental price in the periods from 01 Jan 2020 to 05 June 2020 and from 27 Sept 2020 to 31 Dec  2020 at a normal electricity consumption of kWh 105 per week (or of 15 kWh per day)

The eventual exceeding of kWh foresees a cost of € 0,40 / kWh

• heating:

           a normal gas consumption of 7 m³ per week (or 1 m³ per day) is included in the rental price

The eventual exceeding of gas consumption (m³) will be calculated at a cost of € 4.00 / m³

• use of the swimming pool and Jacuzzi
