Amarena is an old, stone farmhouse, wisely restored and situated on an extremely panoramic position, 751 m on the sea level, being part of the very small hamlet of Cantalena Alta.
This house is the ideal place for those who wish to spend a vacation far from the busy city life, in close contact with nature. Green woods, rugged hills and cultivated countryside frame this beautiful, small house which is also endowed with a wide, completely fenced, outdoor space, with private swimming pool (size m. 7x4, dept. m. 1,20-1,50), porch equipped with table and chairs to dine outside and barbecue. The beautiful town of Cortona, with its stone lanes, Rugapiana and the Church of Santa Margherita, and the medieval village of Castiglion Fiorentino are both around 15 km away and endowed with shops and all services.
Amarena is reachable through a panoramic mountain road, partly unpaved (approx. 4 km) and not advisable for sport cars. Furnishing is simple but comfortable and well matches with the house characteristics.

Peter, Jutta und Ole G., 12/08/2015leider ging unser Urlaub viel zu schnell zu Ende. Wir haben uns in dem Haus super wohl gefühlt. Alles war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit vorhanden. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr abgeschieden, war aber für uns ideal. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Zaun war auch dicht, was für uns eine sehr große Erleichterung war. Ihr Tipp mit dem Supermarkt Esselunga war sehr hilfreich. Er ist wirklich gut bestückt und qualitativ hochwertig, absolut weiter zu empfehlen!
Wir hatten einen rundum schönen und vor allen Dingen erholsamen Urlaub!!

INTERIOR
GROUND FLOOR: porch equipped with table and chairs to dine outside, entrance on a wide living-dining room with kitchen corner, sofas, fireplace and tv, laundry room.
FIRST FLOOR: with access through internal staircase, double bedroom with panoramic balcony, twin bedroom, bathroom with bathtub. Possibility to add one single bed in the double bedroom.
EQUIPMENT: freezer, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, espresso coffee maker, satellite TV, DVD player, hairdryer, high chair, barbecue, football goal post, Wi-Fi Internet access.
The price includes: water, electricity, gas for cooking, bed and bath linen with weekly change, swimming towels, internet wi-fi, firewood, n.1 baby bed (for infants up to 3 years old) on request at time of booking
The price does not include: final cleaning € 80.00, small size pets allowed on payment of € 5.00 each pet per day, Tourist Tax if applicable (details provided on site by the owner).
