Il Condottino is a beautiful rural home placed on the hills covered with olives groves between Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona, in a very panoramic position and very close to the magnificent medieval castle of Montecchio Vesponi.

The villages of Castiglion Fiorentino (4 km far) as well as the nearby old Etruscan town of Cortona (8 km far), endowed with all kind of shops and services offer many folk events and cultural celebrations in particular during summer time. All around the house the enclosed, large and fresh garden shadowed by olive trees, almonds and cypresses and equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue and wood burning oven, guarantees a pleasant area to relax during hot summer days.

The house furnishing is well-groomed and comfortable and fits in with the property features, which is made up of two interconnecting floors either from the inside or from the outside with two separate entrances. Possibility to arrange trekking and mountain bike excursion with local guide to discover the paths of the area, and pottery course.

This was our (two families) second time in this wonderful, traditional italian house. We just love it and its magnificent swimming pool and huge garden. Owner is also very kind and helpful, whenever we needed help. Perfect place for those who need a peaceful and relaxing holiday. However the house is close to lovely cities like Cortona, Arezzo and Florence.

If you are looking for a hidden place, where none disturbs you, you should choose Casolare Il Condottino! The owner is very kind and helps you to organize your free time and gives advice where to go and what to do. You can visit Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Montepluciano and Cortona easily, by car or by train as well. The house has an authentic spirit with the inside furnitures. The view is beautiful, as it was built on the hillside. The garden is huge with pool and BBQ area. We took our dogs with us and they enjoyed the big field as well. I can recommend for those who are looking for a farmhouse with big surface in a tranquil environment and would like to explore the southern part of Tuscany.

AMAZING VILLA
Il Condottino was our holiday home at June-July 2015 with my family, my parents and my hubs parents. Very nice and beautiful villa with amazing view. Pool and garden were great, specially for children. The owner was very friendly and told us some great tips about Tuscany. Thanks for amazing vacation!

Unser Urlaub im Haus Il Condottino war ein Traum! Angefangen von der Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Luca, da wir erst abends um 20.00 Uhr ankamen, bis hin zum wunderschönen Haus mit traumhaften Grundstück! Wir vergeben natürlich 10 Punkte, da dies ein außergewönlich schöner Urlaub war. Luca war telefonisch immer erreichbar, wenn wir ein Problem hatten. Einfach toll. Wir möchten uns auch bei Ihnen recht herzlich für die tolle Kommunikation bedanken. Wir empfehlen dieses Haus gerne weiter! Dieses Haus lebt förmlich - mit der liebevollen Einrichtung - so etwas muss man erst einmal finden. Der Pool war immer sauber - es wird alles mt Liebe gepflegt. First floor: with access either through internal wooden staircase or external staircase with typical loggia, living room with fireplace and single sofa bed, study with single sofa bed, double bedroom with small private bathroom with shower, double bedroom, double bedroom with added single bed, bathroom with shower.

EQUIPMENT: washing machine, dish-washer, microwave, DVD player, SAT TV, freezer, filter coffee maker, highchair, oven, Wi-Fi Internet access.

OUTDOOR

At guests disposal and for their exclusive use the beautiful swimming pool (size 5x10 m - depth 1,40 m), situated in a panoramic terrace with amazing view on the Valdichiana. Possibility to arrange trekking and mountain bike excursion with local guide to discover the paths of the area, and also pottery course, painting or cooking classes, and much more to experience an unforgettable holiday in Tuscany.

The price includes: electricity, gas for kitchen use, water, sheets and bathroom towels with weekly change, internet WI-FI, wood, n. 1 cot for children up to 3 years old (on request at time of booking), pool towels available on previous request, pets allowed, use of pool, air conditioning.
