La Dimora Monte del Lago is a lovely old farmhouse, a typical example of rural architecture of the previous century, which has recently been renovated and transformed into a comfortable holiday home for our guests.

Its position, at the top of a hill covered by olive trees and overlooking Lake Trasimeno, is absolutely unique. It is all that one could wish from a holiday home: the peace and tranquillity of the countryside together with the cool breeze from the lake below. The beaches of Lake Trasimeno where, apart from enjoying the hot summer sun, you can also practice water sports like sailing and wind-surfing, are visible from the house and just a short drive away.

La Dimora del Lago is surrounded by a large garden shaded by ancient olive trees equipped with garden furniture, table tennis.

The villa has been furnished with period furniture and is extremely comfortable. At full guests' disposal Satellite TV, microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker, iron.

INTERIOR

FIRST FLOOR: access via a traditional external stone staircase with loggia, made up of a sitting room with fireplace, sofas and TV, kitchen/dining room, two bathrooms with shower one of which with washing maschine. Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and mezzanine with a double and a single added beds,access to a typical panoramic terrace equipped with table, chairs and sun umbrella. Double bedroom with mezzanine with single added bed, double bedroom, twin bedroom. From the kitchen and the sitting room access to a large terrace (60 sqm) partly covered and equipped with table, chairs, sitting area in wicker furniture, swing seat and barbecue. 

EQUIPMENT: microwave, freezer, washing machine, dish-washer, satellite TV, oven, toaster, filter coffee maker, iron and ironing board, stereo, barbecue, highchair, espresso coffee maschine, small electric oven, mosquito nets, kettle, fans (4), Wi-Fi Internet access, table tennis, hairdryer, barbecue.

OUTDOOR

The beautiful swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 1,20-2,00 m) has been built on a natural terrace overlooking the Lake. The house has also two large first floor terraces, on both of its sides, where guests will have the possibility to organize al fresco dinners, or simply enjoy them as solarium during the day or relax while tasting a good typical wine in the cool summernights. The pool is open from 26th April to 27th September.

The price includes: electricity, water, gas for cooking purposes, weekly linen change, use of pool, internet Wi-Fi, n.1 baby bed (for children up to 3 years - on request at time of booking)

The price do not include: final cleaning (€150,00- fixed price), supplement for pet (€ 5,00 each pet per day); Tourist Tax when requested (more details provided on arrival)

On request: heating (€ 6,00 / cubic meter), firewood (€ 15,00 / 100 Kg), baby bed (free).

The Location is an ideal starting point for who wish to have nice daily trip and sightseeing all over South Tuscany and Umbria as well.

The famous city of Cortona is located not far from the super way Siena-Perugia. Very well known site like Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Perugia, Assisi and so on can be reached in less than hour driving as well as the hidden and maybe most beautiful corners of this 2 regions.

Big cities like Florencerenze or Rome can be easily reached also by train (and we suggest to use it in high season to avoid traffic roads) being Cortona served by 2 train railways stations.

Above all we are quite sure that you will fall in love with the ancient atmosphere of  beautiful towns like Perugia, Assisi, and Cortona too.
