Podere il Glicine is an original rural country house, externally wrapped in blooming ivy, situated in the vicinity of Fabro. Located on a hilltop with breathtaking 360 degree views over the surrounding Umbrian countryside and the charming town of Carnaiola.

This property has all the necessary requirements so that its guests will enjoy a vacation full of relax and tranquillity. The main building is accessible from the garden using a traditional stone external staircase. The property is well furnished with practical and functional materials which includes “cotto” flooring, and wooden ceiling beams, all of which provides a typical countryside atmosphere. The spacious pergola with it’s splendid views provides the perfect setting for “al fresco” meals and unforgettable sunsets. Guests can relax, have fun and swim in the newly built swimming pool, or go on daily nature excursions, not to mention the numerous cities of art.

Podere il Glicine is strategically positioned for daily excursions in both Umbria and Tuscany.

INTERIOR

The external stone staircase takes you directly to the first (and only) floor of the property. From the entrance there is direct access to the large living room with dining room and an additional living room, with comfortable sofa’s, and a large fireplace. On the left there is a well equipped kitchen. In front of the main entrance there is the double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub and shower, whilst on the right there is the remaining of the night area, with 2 twin rooms and bathroom with shower and the laundry room.

EQUIPMENT: TV-Sat, air conditioning, HI-FI system with CD reader, internet wireless fast connection , dishwasher, toaster, microwave, stone barbecue, DVD player, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryers, moka, American coffee maker, mountain bike.

GARDEN
The park surrounds the house, and is in part cultivated with lawn. The park extends to about 1500 m². There is also on site parking.

POOL
The swimming pool is rectangular and measures 5 x 10 m, its depth varies from 1,20 to 1,40 m. It is surrounded in lawn, plants and umbrellas which provide a pleasant shaded area by the pool, and external showers. The pool, totally fenced, is at guests disposal from the last saturday of April till the first saturday of October.

electricity, water, cooking gas, bed linen and towels with weekly change, internet Wi-Fi, pool and garden maintenance, use of pool from last Saturday of April to first Saturday of October

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
obligatory final cleaning (70,00 Euro fix price), DAILY supplement in case animals travel along ( 10,00 Euro per animal), eventual tourist tax regarding the local legislation (community-dependent, details on arrival from the owner)

ON REQUEST:
heating (on consumption due to up to date market prices), air conditioning (0,50 Euro per kwh), additional cleaning (12,00 Euro per hour / cleaner), additional change of bed linen and towels (12,00 Euro per person)

POSITION
Parrano is centrally located between several interesting places: it is between Trasimeno and Bolsena Lakes, between Roma and Firenze (130 km), and not far from Orvieto or Perugia at 70 km. It is easily reachable from Fabro Scalo (8 km) using the SS 71 (exit Fabro on the motorway A1) or by train from the station of Fabro- Ficulle. In only 8 km from the motorway exit or the train station, you will find on your exit beautiful landscapes, green hills, cultivated fields, ancient farm houses, until reach the picturesque historical centre of Parrano with its stately castle. It is also possible to buy the natural product of the owner's agricultural company.
