Villa Il Guardiano is nestled in the Tuscan hillside covered by an olive grove at 350 meters above sea level in a panoramic position showcasing the town of Castiglion Fiorentino which is only 2 km away. This imposing stone structure was built in the 1700 on top of a military outpost at the feet of the D’Ernia Castle by a noble family who used it as a country home. In 1996, it was restructured and while preserving the exterior of the original building, the interior was divided into two independent apartments.

The Apartment Il Guardiano 1 is located on the Ground Floor and composed of an ample living room with fireplace, well equipped kitchen, dining room with a table seating 8/10 people, 1 master bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower. It is accessed from a charming portico with an antique wood oven that also works as a barbeque.

The Apartment Il Guardiano 2 is located on the First Floor and composed of a living room with sofa bed, well equipped kitchen, dining room with fireplace and a table seating 8 people, 1 master bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, and a bathroom with bathtub. The apartment is accessed through a beautiful loggia that offers the ideal place to have breakfast and enjoy the panoramic view of the Tuscan hillside. Outside of the apartment is located a barbeque pit an exterior table seating 6/8 people.

EQUIPMENT: All the apartments are furnished with fully equipped kitchens with stove top, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, living areas with telephone, television and Wi-Fi internet connection, laundry area with washing machine, independent heating, and hairdryers. Our rates also include bed linens, bath towels, kitchen cloths and tools, dishware and silverware, cups and glasses, electricity, water, and final cleaning.

The beautiful swimming pool is 10 m x 5 m and is surrounded by a carefully landscaped garden with a Mediterranean essence.

On request: Babysitter € 12.00/hour per day and € 18,00/hour at night, extra bed €20,00/week, extra linen €10.00/person, extra cleaning € 10,00 / hour, pets € 20.00 / week , extra bed € 30,00 / week.

Castiglion Fiorentino has Etruscan-Roman origin and almost intact middle ages walls, domain of Cassero, where you can find interesting Etruscan excavations too The Municipality museum contains precious goldsmithry works of XIII century and paintings of Margaritone, Taddeo Gaddi, Bartolomeo della Gatta and Giorgio Lucani. The sixteenth century loggia, in front of the Municipality building, it's like a natural balcony that offers an amazing view to Valle di Chio, walkway between Valdichiana and Valtiberina.
