La Contessina is a cozy cottage located in the heart of the Valdichiana, amidst an interesting cultural and natural scenary and surrounded by many different localities rich in history like the Etruscan town of Cortona, the old Medieval towns of Castiglion Fiorentino, Civitella in Valdichiana, Monte San Savino and Lucignano.

Situated only 1 km far from the small village of Alberoro, La Contessina benefits from a privileged hills position, surrounded by olive groves and woods. The property, accessible by a gravel road of about 200 m in good conditions (not recommended to sport cars), is fully fenced and covers a total of 2 hectares.

La Contessina is without no doubt an ideal destination for those looking for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature without giving up discovering the territory rich in touristic and cultural attractions. The proximity of the most important towns and cities of central Italy such as Arezzo, Florence, Siena, Perugia, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Assisi and Cortona, enables the tourists to plan their holiday trying out a new experience every day.

La Contessina is totally fenced. Only the access to the house is shared with the owners of the main villa who live in the property. They are very hospitable and respectful with their guests and at full disposal, if needed, to offer advices and tips to discover the area

Un posto da favola. La location è stupenda, è tutto come descritto (anzi, meglio): giardino, patio e piscina privati non hanno prezzo. Claudio e Pilar sono due persone meravigliose, oltre ad essere padroni di casa eccellenti: ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa sempre rispettando la nostra privacy, dandoci indicazioni rapide e precise su come raggiungere il posto e su come goderci il soggiorno. Si sta immersi nella natura a pochi minuti da paesini dove si trova tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno. Da tornarci mille volte!!! - Alberto e Francesca - Milano

Amazing garden with private pool only for your own usage. We enjoyed it so much and spent most of our time there. House is small and cost with all that you need for great stay. Hosts live next by, very friendly, helpful yet they make sure you have all the privacy you need. Definitely recommended! Ines B. (Czech Republic)

Vi havde nogle rigtig dejlige dage, og vi følte os meget velkomne. Værtsparret var enormt søde og venlige. Virkelig en god oplevelse. Vi stor nød at have vores egen pool og det var det hele værd. Eneste lille bitte ting som vi ville ønske var bedre, var sengene. De var desværre ikke super gode. Men alt i alt har vi været yderst tilfredse og værtsparret var helt fantastiske. Nous avons trouvé le logement charmant car joliment décoré et suffisamment spacieux et équipé pour une personne à mobilité réduite comme moi. Le jardin superbement aménagé et la piscine invitent au farniente sans réserve. Tout ceci est situé à distances égales des splendides villes Toscanes au nord et au sud qu'il ne faut surtout pas oublier de visiter. L'accueil fut extrêmement chaleureux et nous avons partagé beaucoup de bons moments avec nos hôtes Pilar et Claudio. Tous 2 ont pris grand soin de nous, nous conseillant toujours, et partageant tous leurs bons plans. On a plus l'impression d'être reçus chez des amis qu'une simple location ! En conclusion, vous comprendrez que nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour et que nous serions très heureux de les revoir ! Marie-Odile & Laurent

INTERIOR

La Contessina is spread on the ground floor: direct access to the kitchenette with a dining-area and a cozy and comfortable living area equipped with satellite TV and a sofa bed suitable for 1 adult or 2 children, a bathroom with shower suitable for the disabled people and the master bedroom with air conditioning.

Accessories: satellite TV, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, hairdryer, oven, microwave, air conditioning (only in the bedroom), drying rack, ironing board and iron, cot, outdoor tables and chairs, umbrellas, barbecue.

DISABLED:
La Contessina and the surrounding area that connects with the pool can be reached by disabled people who can move along the paths and sidewalks without barriers. All the doors and the bathroom have specific measures for wheelchairs and the shower is equipped with wall mounted shower seat and special handle for disabled. The shower is directly accessible to wheelchairs . There is an acoustic alarm in the bathroom for emergencies.

OUTDOOR

The property is completely fenced. The house has a private outdoor area. Only the access from the car park to La Contessina is shared with the owners of the main villa who live on the neighboring property.
In front of the house there is a beautiful terrace furnished with a table and chairs, a wonderful place to have breakfast or dinner outdoors.
A BBQ is available for grilling, another highlight to enjoy the evening and admire the starry sky.
The friendly and very discreet owners take care of the house and garden themselves and are always happy to answer guests' questions and requests. They live on the neighboring property.

SWIMMING POOL

The beautiful swimming pool (6x12mt, depth: 1,20 m up to 2,40 m), at guests' exclusive use, is located right in front of the house, in a sunny position, to ensure guests pleasant moments of relaxation and refreshment in the hot summer days.

electricity (except air conditioning), water, cooking gas, bed linen and towels with weekly change, pool towels (to be ordered in advance), Wi-Fi internet connection, 1 cot, pool and garden maintenance, pool use from the last Saturday in April until the last Saturday in October

final cleaning (60,00 Euro fix price), Tourist Tax 1,50 Euro/night for max. 5 nights, children up to 14 years free.
