CASALE ASSISI-PRIVATE STRUCTURE (ACCOMODATION ONLY)

Immersed in the beautiful green countryside of the Umbria region, this farmhouse is the ideal place for totally relaxing journeys and interesting tourist itineraries. Actually, Casale Assisi is situated near important renowned cities like Assisi - popular all over the world for its unique architectural beauty and for its patron Saint Francesco - Perugia, Gubbio, Todi and Orvieto. This stone farmhouse has been recently renovated, respecting the structure of old farmhouses, typical of this region. The entire property is completely fenced in and offers to its guests a beautiful park and a nice swimming pool. Starting from season 2013 a new pergola will be at the guests'disposal.

 

INTERIOR

This farmhouse is on two levels. It is composed of a wide living room with fireplace, a kitchen with fireplace, two double bedrooms, one of which with en suite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with twin beds, bathroom with shower. A wide staircase leads to the upper floor which is composed of a wide living room with fire place, a kitchen, two double bedrooms, one of which with en suite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with twin beds and bathroom with shower. Extra sleeps are available upon request at additional charge.

TV, DVD player, oven, refrigerator-freezer, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, boiler, espresso coffee maker, washing machine, drying rack,  iron board with iron, hair dryer, brick barbecue, fire extinguisher, table tennis, outdoor tables and chairs, sunbed, porch, gazebo, Wi-fi internet  connection. On request: cleaning in the presence animals €20.00 per week, heating consumption measured by meter (€5.50 per cubic meter), firewood on consumption, extra-cleaning during vacation €20/h, additional cradle (over that provided) €20.00 per week, extra bed € 65.00 per week, extra change of linen during the vacation €6,00 per person, Insurance against damage caused and reservation costs: 150,00€ /booking (to be paid with the deposit)

LOCATION

Assisi is a town in the province of Perugia, in the heart of the region Umbria and situated on the western side of the Subasio Mountain at 424 metres above sea level. It is an artistic centre of great interest, renowned mostly for being the city where the saints Francesco and Rita were born, lived and died. It is a medieval area, remained intact for centuries and still protected by a perimeter fence. An ideal geographic position and a mild and dry climate make the journey enjoyable in every season.Assisi is very rich in churches and museums of great historic and artistic interest. Inevitable is the tour of the Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi, of Santa Chiara, of the cathedral San Ruffino, the church of santa Maria Maggiore and of the Eremo delle Carceri (hermitage), set on top of the Subasio Mountain.
