Casale Pienza is ancient stone farmhouse that has recently been transformed into a beautiful holiday villa for our guests. The property is situated in a very panoramic position amidst the "Parco Artistico Naturale della Val d'Orcia".  

The farmhouse, which perfectly maintains the original footings of the external walls, the stone floors and the wooden beams, is furnished in a sober and essential style, with original antiques. The owners, always helpful and discreet, live in a villa 200 m far from the farmhouse.

Pienza, the well-known Renaissance town and declared a world heritage by the UNESCO for its monuments importance and its town lay-out is just 2 km far from the house. In a short drive there are renowned villages such as Monticchiello 2 km, Montepulciano 12 km, Montalcino 25 km and spa resorts like Bagno Vignoni 10 km and Chianciano Terme 20 km.

Casale Pienza, divided into four living units, is particularly suitable to accommodate more families who wish to spend their holidays together yet maintaining their own privacy. Following the ground morphology, the house is on various levels connected to each other through some steps.

The farm, a 35 hectares of land approximately, produces cereals, an excellent extra-virgin olive oil which our clients will be able to buy on site and other typical local products like wine, jams etc.

INTERIOR

GROUND FLOOR: with entrance from the internal courtyard, wide living-dining room with fireplace and kitchenette (where it is possible to eat together), double bedroom, bathroom with shower; with independent entrance, living-dining room with small kitchenette and fireplace, bathroom with bath, going up to the first floor double bedroom and single bedroom. With independent entrance on ground floor, living-dining room with small kitchenette and fireplace, bathroom with shower, going upstairs through an internal staircase there are double bedroom, small room with double bed and bathroom (washbasin and toilet).

FIRST FLOOR: with entrance from external stone staircase, living-dining room with kitchenette, two double bedrooms, bathroom with bath. Possibility to add two single beds on the bedrooms.

OUTDOOR

At clients exclusive disposal the beautiful swimming pool (size m 5x10 - depth m 1,50), the barbecue, the wood burning oven and a lovely gazebo ideal to eat "al fresco" and to relax admiring the gentle hills of Val d'Orcia landscape. Possibility to rent mountain bikes.

EQUIPMENT: freezer, oven, dish-washer, wood burning oven, TV, Internet WI-FI (free of charge), washing machine, filter coffee maker, small electric oven, pool (from 30/4 to 1/10).

 

Services included: electricity, water, gas for kitchen use, initial cleaning, sheets and bathroom towels, pool and park maintenance.

Services not included:  pets when present €10,00/each/day;  tourist tax €1,00 per person per day. Children up to 14 years do not pay

Services on request: swimming towels € 3,00 each,heating (€ 7,00/meter cube), wood (€15,00/100 kg).

 

Security deposit: € 500,00 to be paid cash on arrival
