RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE
Domus Antica is located on the beautiful hills south of Florence in the Bagno a Ripoli area, next to the nice medieval town of Grassina. Located on the top of a hill, the house has breathtaking panorama, particularly towards Florence where you can distinguish the dome of the cathedral.
The property composed by the villa and the dependance, has been built in stone respecting the surroundings landscape. The internal furniture, chosen carefully by the owner, represents a mix of old and modern style that meets the requirements of functionality and comfort. Cotto floors and wooden beams will assure warmth and charm. On the beautiful panoramic terrace you can enjoy “al fresco” dinners.
Whilst thanks to its strategic position, a few minutes from Florence historical centre and from the main important highway, Domus Antica allows you easily daily trip and excursions all over south Tuscany and Umbria too, as well as nice and romantic Florentine nights.
INTERIOR
Main building: The main building is on two levels.
On the ground floor there is the living area with: dining room with fireplace and circular table, well equipped kitchen, tavern with access to the panoramic terrace, living room with fireplace and sofas. Also on this floor a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower suitable for disable people, an service bathroom and a store room.
Left side of the entrance, a staircase leads you to the sleeping area ot the second floor composed by seven double bedrooms with en suite bathroom with shower (one with shower and bathtub) and by a French size bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. In some rooms the bed can be divided.
Dependance: Composed of a living room with fireplace and bathroom with shower on the ground floor, a double bedroom with double sofa bed on the upper floor.
GARDEN
The park is a 5000 m² mix of garden and olive trees. At the end of the garden upper level, a stone staircase leads you to the paved pool area.
POOL
Open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. The swimming pool measures 10 x 5 m, with a depth of 1,60 m. The cotto floor pool area is furnished with deck chairs, chairs and table.

The price includes: electricity, water, gas for kitchen use, weekly linen, initial and final cleaning, pool and park maintenance
The price does not include:extra when animals are present (€ 30,00 per animal per week), tourism tax (where applicable)

POSITION
Domus Antica is located at few kilometres from Grassina on a hill overlooking Florence and the rest of the valley. It is completely immersed in the countryside and the road that leads to the house is in very good condition. The nearest town with basic shops is Capannuccia (2 km far) where there is also a bus stop that allow you to reach Grassina and from there to move into Florence with public transportation (from the property to Florence there are approximately 15 km).
The A1 Florence sud is at few km and allow you to reach all the important cities in a while
