Torre San Gimignano is a spectacular tower located in the Piazza del Duomo in the historical center of San Gimignano (14 single residential tower of the city). The tower was erected in 1200 by the Salvucci family and is the highest private tower of San Gimginano (48 m). Recently, the structure has been restored and turned into a charming atmosphere where you can spend a unique and timeless.
The juxtaposition of modern and ancient structure creates an atmosphere very pleasant and comfortable. The tower comprises 10 floors and a roof terrace (top floor). The levels are connected through a scale of ca. 160 steps.
The historic center of San Gimignano is closed to traffic, you can apply for a permit to enter the house and unload / load luggage. Washing machine available in a special room. The house is not suitable for children.
