Villa Baccus is a lovely appartment on the first floor of an elegant villa, located near the medieval village of Marciano della Chiana. The village with its ancient tower and its thick stone walls let people still think about the glorious past of this area. On the ground floor live the owners, who are always ready to help guests should there be any questions. They have run, a famous restaurant in France for many years and are whiling to cook on request typical Tuscan dishes for their guests.
This accommodation is ideal for those who wish to relax in the countryside, but still want a small town with shops and services nearby.
From the garden in front of the villa you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view to Cortona. You can also visit the most famous cities and towns of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Cortona, Pienza, Montalcino and Castiglione del Lago in interesting excursions.

You enter villa Baccus through an outside staircase and so you reach the first floor appartment. Guests will find there a spacious living room with a double sofa bed, a fireplace, a TV and a dining table, and next to it a modern equipped kitchen.From the living room you enter a covered terrace overlooking the pool and the lovely landscape. Even a brick barbecue is available and makes the terrace the ideal place for lovely dinners! Furthermore, there are 2 double rooms, one of the two also leads to this terrace. The appartment has one bathroom with shower and one with shower and hot tub.

EXTERIOR
You enter the fully fenced property through an electric gate. In the well-kept garden you can find various flowers and Mediterranean plants. A wooden gazebo with a table and chairs is ideal for outdoor dining. Guests can relax and enjoy the panoramic view in this cozy setting.
POOL
The beautiful pool measures 6 x 14 m, depth 1.00 to 1.60 m and is located in front of the villa with a panoramic view over the Chiana Valley. The outdoor area is equipped with sun beds, sunshades and provides relaxing sunbathing. Sometimes the pool can be shared by the owners, but their discreet presence doesn’t interfere with the guests in any way. The pool is open from 15.5.-30.9.
