Casale Gimignano is a beautiful renovated private villa situated in the Tuscan countryside, 8 km far from the charming village of San Gimignano. Peaceful position in the middle of a pretty farm of 400ha where Vernaccia, the white wine typical of the San Gimignano area and olive oil are produced.   The villa offers beautiful views of the countryside and the Chianti hills on the horizon. 

The main villa is divided into two floors and close to the villa and the pool, there are two lovely detached annexes buildings. All the property has been beautifully restored to an extremely high standard, maintaining many of the original characteristics such as beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and fireplaces.

Casale Gimignano is the perfect location for guests looking for a high standard private accommodation in a tranquil position in the heart of the magic Tuscany, near the medieval town of San Gimignano. This wonderful village with its shops, historic monuments and restaurants is only 5 minutes far by car from the villa and many other famous Tuscan locations are within easy driving distance. Florence and Siena are also easily accessible by train.

Once a week the guests are invited to wine tasting (Vernaccia, Chianti and Brunello wines) in the owner's family's farm, at 2km from San Gimignano.  It is also possible to purchase farm products.

INTERIOR

Main villa (sleeps 12) 325m²

Ground floor: entrance, large living/dining room (for 12) with characteristic ceiling with small vaults, fireplace, and access to the grounds, small lounge (TV), dining room (for 6), kitchen (oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher) with fireplace/barbecue, twin bedded room with access to the outside, bathroom with shower (window).

First floor: hall/living room, 5 double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom with shower (window), WC.

Annex 1 (sleeps 2 + 2) 62m²

Ground floor: living/dining room with double sofa bed, fireplace and open kitchenette (oven, frdige/freezer) with access to the grounds, WC.

First floor: double bedroom, bathroom with shower (window).

Annex 2 (sleeps 2) 16m²

Ground floor: small room with dining table (for 2), small fireplace and cooking area (oven, washing machine), bedroom with small double bed (140cm) and en suite bathroom with shower (window).

OUTSIDE

There is a large private swimming pool (7m x 14m, depth 1.10m - 1.40m) with Jacuzzi area.  The villa has also a large garden with equipped and fenced-in lawn and beyond are never-ending views with vineyards and olive groves.
Next to the villa, there is a beautiful shaded garden terrace, furnished with table and chairs, barbecue and gazebo.

The pool is open from 01/05 to 29/09
