VILLA OVIDIO is a beautiful brick and stone house with private pool recently restored and situated in an ideal position, among the rolling hills near Monte San Savino.

Once at the villa, one can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding countryside mainly composed by vineyards, fields of sunflowers, woods and, in the distance, the medieval village of Monte San Savino

The property is situated between the small village of Montagnano (about 2km) and Monte San Savino (approx 5 km) in the province of Arezzo. Despite its location close to important communication roads near Monte San Savino, the house is situated in a quiet and panoramic position.
The property belongs to a distinguished family who has been producing fine wines since the early twentieth century. The company, located among the hills of Monte San Savino and part of the DoC Valdichiana area, produces and exports fine wines all over the world. On request, wine tastings can be organized at Villa Ovidio.
INTERIOR
The villa has 2 floors with internal and external access
Ground Floor:
The main entrance, through a wrought iron door and a small hallway, leads to a wide open room composed by a dining room - living room and the kitchen.
From the entrance, you arrive in the dining area equipped with a beautiful long wooden table and chairs. Another door leads outside to a dining area located in the back of the villa and equipped with table and chairs, perfect for lunches dinners or just to relax.
On the right side of the entrance, is the kitchen, with a direct access to outside. The owners have paid particular attention to the kitchen by equipping it with high quality appliances such as induction cookers, American fridge-freezer, oven, micro-wave oven with fan, dishwasher, coffee maker, espresso coffee maker, ...)
On the left side of the main entrance, there are two connecting living rooms (with direct access to the external too), and furnished with sofas, one with a huge fireplace and large plasma TV-SAT.
One of the living-rooms gives access through an arch to the sleeping area of the ground floor composed by: spacious double bedroom (with access to and from the outside) with private bathroom with shower suitable for disabled persons, a small room with two single beds, a bathroom with shower.
First Floor:
A typical external stone staircase with a small loggia leads to the first floor composed by a foyer which has been equipped as a corner-bar with a sink (the room will be soon equipped with a small refrigerator, micro- wave) with direct access to one double bedroom with private bathroom with shower
An internal wooden staircase leads upstairs to the foyer (previously mentioned) and to the corridor which gives direct access to two double bedrooms each with private bathroom with shower and to a suite with king-size canopy bed, ensuite bathroom with shower (Jacuzzi, sauna, chromotherapy, music) and bathtub (Jacuzzi with 2 seats)
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning hot / cold and TV-SAT
EXTERIOR
The property has an extension of about 5.000 sqm that includes the villa with swimming pool, garden, plus the surrounding woods, fields and vineyards around. A small gravel driveway leads up to a car park equipped with rooftop photovoltaic system.
Guests can also relax outside during the whole day at any time, thanks to the various spaces specifically created to enjoy every corner of the property. There is also a barbecue at guests’ disposal .
Near the house, on the one hand, there is a panoramic terrace equipped with "Bistrot" tables and chairs which will enable guests to relax while enjoying the beautiful sunsets
POOL
In front of the villa, there is a beautiful swimming pool with roman staircase which makes it possible for pleasant evening swims, as it has also been equipped with colored LED lights to create a magical atmosphere.
The pool is 15x6 m. - depth 1,20 to 1,30 m and is equipped with inviting sunbeds. Near the pool, a large wooden porch equipped with sofas and heated external Jacuzzi tub (5 seats) and sauna (2 seats)

Monte San Savino is only 5 km from the villa, and is one of the most important centers of Val di Chiana with all kinds of shops and services and offers many cultural and popular events. This village, probably founded in Roman times was certainly an important castle in the Middle Ages, but today is one of the most visited of the Chiana Valley. Its walls protect many important medieval and Renaissance buildings.
