CASA EOLO - CIN: IT003062C2VRUFXNLE

This property is situated on the western side of Lake Maggiore in the beautiful park of “Lagoni di Mercurago”. From many points on the estate, especially from the large garden, it is possible to enjoy magnificent views of the lake and the medieval fortress of Angera on the opposite shore. A famous architect designed and built Casa Eolo in the 1960’s, and it has recently been restored and refurbished in a modern style. The interiors are spacious and light, with a varied range of colours, although white dominates. 

Casa Eolo consists of a main circular section, containing a very large sitting room that was once a dance hall, and two wings with identical hallways leading to a large dining room and the bedroom area. The result is a house with a spectacular structure in the shape of an airplane.

Tourist tax is applied in most Italian municipalities. This tax is by law to be fully paid by the holidaymakers. The amount varies from municipality to municipality and it must be paid upon arrival directly to the caretaker /owner. Unfortunately, the amount may be subject to change even after the booking is confirmed.

Arrival time is on Saturday between 4 pm and 7 pm (after 8 pm a fee of € 50 is required and after 10 pm the fee is € 100. Any late arrival has to be agreed in advance).
