CASALE LUIGINO 20 - RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE

Casale Luigino is immersed in the Alta Valdera, in between Pisa and Volterra, in an estate of about 500 heactres. San Luigi, is part of a notable farm founded at the beginning of 1940’s, which is renowned for a wonderful production of a great San Giovese wine and a tasty oil. The property dates back to the beginning of the early 11th century and has seen the change of hand from Monastery (Benedettini followed by Camaldonesi) to farm around the 19^th century.  The splendour of this wonderful structure also offers the possibility to celebrate amazing events and weddings.  The property has the typical style of a Tuscan farmhouse bordered by oak and cypress forests, vines and olive groves. Of the same estate are Casale Viciola, Casale Angiolino and the Agriturismo Mora.

INTERIOR  
The property is on two floors, the ground floor is made up of a spacious living room with a stone centre fireplace, a welcoming dining room, and professional kitchen. Also on this floor there are a separated toilet and two twin bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower and access from the outdoor.

The first floor in total has eight bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.
4 twin bedrooms with private bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms with canopy bed with private bathroom with bathtub and two double bedrooms with canopy bed with bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. All the bedrooms are decorated with antique Tuscan furniture, “cotto” flooring and wooden ceiling beams.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a spacious garden immersed amongst the olive groves. A wonderful pergola has been created with direct access from the living room under which guests can enjoy memorable moments and meals. Also nearby the property there is a antique wood oven and a barbecue. The house is ideal for a large family or group of friends that can enjoy a nice vacation in complete privacy, cooking in the old oven outside or to enjoy a barbecue or relax in the large veranda

POOL
The swimming pool is situated at less than 5 m from the house, and measuring  8x6 m with a variable depth of 1,50 m, accessible using the Roman staircase.  The pool is covered in a light blue pvc cover which gives the pool n intense blue colour. The pool is equipped with a diving board, sun loungers for relaxation under the large trees.  

THE PRICE INCLUDES: electricity, air conditioning and heating, water, gas for cooking purpose, bed linen, bath and pool towels with weekly change, final cleaning, internet Wi-Fi, pool and garden maintenance, pool use from last Saturday in April to first Saturday in October

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: weekly supplement in case animals travel along, only SMALL SIZED animals are welcome (50,00 Euro per animal), eventual tourist tax regarding the new legislation (community-dependent, details on arrival from the owner)

ON REQUEST: additional cleaning (17,00 Euro per hour / cleaner), additional change of bed linen and towels (15,00 Euro per person), on request additional beds (weekly supplement: €30,00 per bed)

POSITION
Terricciola, built on a tufa plateau of lower Pleistocene origin, occupies a strategic position on the valleys of the river Era of Cascina and the Steer, significant water resources and, as in the case of the river was, crucial axes of rural roads since the age Roman Empire. In the historic center of Terricciola, have made ​​some interesting discoveries of Etruscan origin, Hypogeum, rooms dug into the base of tuff relief which were later used by the local population as grain stores, wine or as a refuge. At about 7 km from Terricciola is the town of Lajatico, where is possible to visit the Teatro del Silenzio. Orciatico, nearby, is famous for the presence of two windmills built at the end of the seventeenth century and still in good condition.
