Dimora Michelangelo is an old country residence, skilfully restored and transformed into an exclusive private retreat. It is situated in the centre of Valdichiana, close to Arezzo and Cortona, at the top of a hill that dominates a scene of pleasant tuscan countryside with green fields and ancient villages.

It is a typical old country residence, renovated with love and care, respecting its original characteristics: all of the original building materials - terracotta flooring, stonework in pietra serena stone and wooden beams have all been used in the restoration with great attention to detail and together with the richness of the furnishings consisting of antique furnishings and precious materials, all contribute to an elegant and exclusive atmosphere. The bedrooms are comfortable and are beautifully decorated to give a charming and elegant atmosphere. 

There is a total of 9 bedrooms:   some with suites with living-room, fireplace and Jacuzzi tub but all of them featuring an ensuite bathroom and the most up-to-date conveniences such as: air-conditioning, satellite TV, safe-deposit box, fridge-bar, internet connection.

The property is surrounded by grounds of 2 hectares with a garden in tuscan style with olive trees: the nice pool offers a splendid view of the surrounding countryside.

There are two simming pools:   one indoor heated with whirlpool and sauna which will be perfect even in the fresh season.  The other pool is situated in the garden with a solarium area for the relaxing time overlooking the Tuscan countryside.

Everything has been thought out to offer an unforgettable holiday. The main sightseeing towns for art and history in central Italy (Florence, Siena, Perugia, Montepulciano, Assisi and Gubbio) are all within easy reach of Dimora Michelangelo

All bedrooms are different in size and decoration and have the most up-to-date conveniences such as: air-conditioning, satellite TV, safe-deposit box, fridge-bar, internet connection. The period furnishing perfectly matches with the original materials and the rich fabrics create a uniquely romantic and elegant atmosphere.

OUTDOOR & POOL

A 4 acres ( ca. 2 hectares) park, with Italian style garden and olive trees surrounding the property. All original features have been maintained, brick floors, stone windows and doorways, chestnut beams and brick ceiling have been reconstructed using the house original materials. Period furnishing and rich fabrics, attention to details and enhance the elegant and exclusive atmosphere.

The Outdoor pool (fenced) measures 12x6 m (1,20 to 2,20m depth) and offers breathtaking view on the sourrounding countryside open  from the first week of may to the first Saturday of October or on request. 

The Indoor pool is open all the year.

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Breakage deposit Euro 1.500 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. 
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 400.
Internal private pool and sauna available the whole year on payment of Euro 450.
Heating Euro 0,50 per Kw (if used). 
Air conditioning Euro 0,50 per Kw (if used).
Tourist Tax Euro 1 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay.
