Il Condottino is a beautiful farmhouse set in the hills covered with olive groves, between Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona, in an extremely panoramic position. You will be within walking distance of the superb medieval castle of Montecchio Vesponi, with its imposing tower rising over the valley.
The village of Castiglion Fiorentino, with shops and services of all kinds, is only 4 km away and offers many folkloristic and cultural events, especially during the summer, as does the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona, which is only 8 km away. It is impossible not to recommend a visit to Cortona and a stop at "Rugapiana" for an ice cream or an aperitif. The town, with its stone streets and historic buildings perched on the hill, will remain in your heart.

The farmhouse is tastefully decorated in a comfortable, rustic Tuscan style. The furniture chosen, the colours with which the walls have been painted, the wrought iron beds, the curtains and the furnishings, all blend in perfectly with the ancient characteristics of the structure.
On the lower floor, the large masonry kitchen also serves as a dining room. The huge fireplace, the woven wicker baskets and the copper pots and pans will immerse you in a warm atmosphere of times gone by.
Il Condottino is perfect if you are travelling as a family or with a group of friends, wishing to combine a relaxing holiday by the pool surrounded by the Tuscan countryside with tours and day trips throughout central Italy. 

The garden is enclosed and surrounded by olive, almond and cypress trees and is well equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue and wood-burning oven. It will be a space of pleasant relaxation and refuge on hot summer days and the ideal place for your dinners or barbecues with friends. For a chat and a glass of wine on the side of the house there is a small pergola with table and sofas. At your disposal and for your exclusive use is the beautiful swimming pool (size 5x10 m - depth 1.40 - open from 01st May to 30th September) situated on a natural terrace, with stone solarium, sunbeds and umbrellas. The fantastic view of the Valdichiana from here will enchant you with its changing colours, at any time of the day, from dawn to dusk.

Luca, the owner, will be happy to organise for you trekking or mountain bike excursions with local guides to discover the paths in the area, ceramics, painting and cookery courses and many other activities to live an unforgettable Tuscan experience.

Heating Euro 30 per day (if used).
Tourist Tax Euro 1 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay.
