La Dimora Monte del Lago is a lovely old farmhouse, a typical example of rural architecture of the previous century, which has recently been renovated and transformed into a comfortable holiday home for our guests.

Its position, at the top of a hill covered by olive trees and overlooking Lake Trasimeno, is absolutely unique. It is all that one could wish from a holiday home: the peace and tranquillity of the countryside together with the cool breeze from the lake below. The beaches of Lake Trasimeno where, apart from enjoying the hot summer sun, you can also practice water sports like sailing and wind-surfing, are visible from the house and just a short drive away.

La Dimora Monte del Lago is surrounded by a large garden shaded by ancient olive trees equipped with garden furniture, table tennis.

The villa has been furnished with period furniture and is extremely comfortable. At full guests' disposal Satellite TV, microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker, iron.

INTERIOR

FIRST FLOOR: access via a traditional external stone staircase with loggia, made up of a sitting room with fireplace, sofas and TV, kitchen/dining room, two bathrooms with shower one of which with washing machine. Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and mezzanine with access to a typical panoramic terrace equipped with table, chairs and sun umbrella. Two double bedrooms and twin bedroom. From the kitchen and the sitting room access to a large terrace (60 sqm) partly covered and equipped with table, chairs, sitting area in wicker furniture, swing seat and barbecue.

OUTDOOR

Dimora del Lago  is  located in an extremely panoramic position, on the top of a hill covered with olive trees and overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The villa with its two sun terraces, the private swimming pool (size 5x12 m, depth 1,20-2,00 m) and the garden overlook the shores of the lake, and will give you a dream view every day...with silver waters, small and sleepy villages in the distance and boats gently cruising on the surface of the lake.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay).During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. 
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 180.
Heating Euro 6 per m3 (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
Tourist tax Euro 0,80 per person per day applied for the first 5 days only. Children up to 14 years do not pay.

The Location is an ideal starting point for who wish to have nice daily trip and sightseeing all over South Tuscany and Umbria as well.

The famous city of Cortona is located not far from the super way Siena-Perugia. Very well known site like Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Perugia, Assisi and so on can be reached in less than hour driving as well as the hidden and maybe most beautiful corners of this 2 regions.

Big cities like Florence or Rome can be easily reached also by train (and we suggest to use it in high season to avoid traffic roads) being Cortona served by 2 train railways stations.

Above all we are quite sure that you will fall in love with the ancient atmosphere of  beautiful towns like Perugia, Assisi, and Cortona too.
