Podere San Gimignano is a recently inaugurated farmhouse holiday, wonderfully framed by the extraordinary landscape of San Gimignano, situated about 7 km distant.

Beautiful views over the surrounding countryside mainly composed by vineyards, cypress-trees, woods and cultivated fields.

Podere San Gimignano, nestled in the rolling hills of the gorgeous Tuscan countryside,  in the vicinity of the medieval centre of San Gimignano, is perfectly located to explore Tuscany's most prized art towns. This ancient farmhouse has been divided into nine double rooms, where the magic atmosphere of past times is perfectly blended with modern comforts.

Podere San Gimignano is composed by 9 double bedrooms, each of them with private bathroom.

From the bedrooms, guests have access to the large living-rooms equipped for relaxing and reading and SAT-TV.

ROOMS

ALBICOCCA- 2+1 sleeps :  This first-floor double bedroom retains many original features of the traditional Tuscan style, with terracotta tiled floors and beamed ceilings. From its windows guests can enjoy lovely views of the medieval towers of San Gimignano. An extra bed can be added on request.

FIORDALISO – 2 sleeps : This first-floor double bedroom, with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, is painted in the colour of this precious flower, now almost extinct. It enjoys a lovely view of the swimming pool and of surrounding gentle hills.

GIRASOLE -  2 sleeps: This room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, is on the first floor and it is named after the sunflower, an icon of Tuscany. LILLA' - 2 sleeps: This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, enjoys lovely views over the gentle hills, and the Chianti region. It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

ROSA ANTICA – 2 sleeps: This first-floor room is named after the beautiful rose garden that can be enjoyed from the swimming pool sun terrace. It has beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, and overlooks the surrounding hills, that according to the season and to the light effects offer attracting shades of colours.
It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

SALVIA – 2 sleeps: This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, enjoys idyllic views over the towers of San Gimignano. It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

SENAPE -  2 sleeps: This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, enjoys lovely views over the towers of San Gimignano, partially covered by an imposing century-old cypress tree, where squirrels run up.

FOCOLARE – 2 sleeps: This first-floor room is really exclusive, and boasts a large ancient rural Tuscan fireplace. It has beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, and enjoys a lovely view over the paved terrace and the surrounding countryside.

VIOLA – sleeps 2+1: This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, is large and spacious, and opens directly onto the outside paved terrace. It is particularly suitable for small families.

A beautiful swimming-pool and a gazebo are at clients' disposal in the property.

RESTAURANT

Podere San Gimignano offers the Bed & Breakfast service for the clients and on request a tipical Italian menù for DINNER. ( fix menu wine included aprox. € 35,00- per person, children can get single dishes). Guests can make use also of the dinner service at the other farmhouse holiday of the owners (LA VERNACCIA), situated about 10 km distant.
Also LA VERNACCIA prepares every night typical dinners with fixed menu (wine included) at aprox. € 35,00- per person.
