VILLA JAVA -RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE

Close to a little stream and immersed in the quiet peaceful of a centuries-old forest , stands Villa Java, a late 19th century farmhouse that has been restored by the owners who have preserved the structure and a large part of the original materials, such as the bricks and sturdy chestnut-wood beams, which interact with the bright colours and contemporary design of the interior.

The villa has two floors and is surrounded by flower beds and evergreen borders that open out on to a large lawn with the infinity pool and solarium. We are in the countryside but only 4 km from the charming medieval town of Lucca which is easily accessible by bicycle and just a few kilometres from the art cities of Pisa and Florence.

The beautiful beaches of Versilia with the famous resorts of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are not far away, as are the marble quarries of Carrara and the famous Cinque Terre, a Unesco World Heritage Site.

INTERIOR
The villa has two floors. The main entrance, located on the ground floor and used as an internet point, leads into a well lit living and dining area with fireplace and large windows overlooking the pool and outside pergola.
The living room is connected to the modern kitchen with breakfast bar which permits an optimal use of space. A modern staircase leads to the upper floor consisting of three double bedrooms with indivisible beds and little sofa, each with ensuite bathroom with shower, and two further double bedrooms with indivisible beds and bathroom with shower.
Each room is decorated in different colours and high design which make the rooms pleasant, welcoming and personal. There is under-floor heating and air conditioning.

OUTDOOR
The completely fenced property with electric entrance gate covers an area of about 3000 square meters of land which is mostly characterized by a flat, highly coloured garden with a variety of plants and flowers and made more comfortable and cosy thanks to the presence of structures ideal for relaxing. Guests can dine under the pergola located in front of the living room whilst enjoying the view of the pool and the fresh air blowing in from the nearby hills.

POOL
The pool is situated on a higher level with regard to the living area of the house, it is easily accessible via the steps from the area in front of the living room. Rectangular-shaped with infinity border on the side in front of the house, it measures 11x 7,50 m with a depth varying from 0.80 to 1.50 m and has salt water purification and PVC lining with the border in local stone. Easy steps give access to the water. The solarium area is natural lawn and it is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs and beach umbrellas.

THE PRICE INCLUDES: water, gas for cooking purposes, internet Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels with weekly change, pool towels,  pool and garden maintenance, use of pool from last Saturday in April to first Saturday in October

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: final cleaning, 300,00 Euro,  electricity ON CONSUMPTION 0,70 Euro/kwh,  Heating if used on consumption,  tourism tax (where applicable)

ON REQUEST: additional cleaning (15,00 Euro per hour/cleaner), additional change of linen (12,00 Euro per person), floor heating and cooling system (on consuption up to date market price), max. 2 additional beds (100,00 Euro per bed / week)

LOCATION

The property is located not far from Lucca. Lucca is a place that you can just walk around and discover and enjoy and it's really close to Firenze and far from the crowds. It has many things to offer to the guests as you can visit the city both by foot or cycling into the walls. There are a lot of place to see in the beautiful town, first of all the ancient walls, the Amphitheatre square and not least the Torre Guinigi. In a few kms from Lucca you will also find beautiful villas like Villa Reale, Villa Mansi or Villa Torrigiani. The Lucca area offers also a lot of interesting naturalistic places like Garfagnana, Valle del Serchio or Piana di Lucca. For those who wish to swim in the sea, the coastal strip of Versilia, from Forte dei Marmi to Torre del Lago Puccini, offers more than 20 kilometres (12 miles) of beaches, parks and splendid countryside. Most beaches can be reached from Lucca by car in 30 to 45 minutes. It could be also an ideal point to tour around the famous Cinque Terre. The area is easily reachable by car with the A11 super way Firenze-Pisa Nord (called also Firenze -Mare) exit Lucca east (6 km). From Genova you can use the A12 Genova- Rosignano. The railway station, that is not far from centre, links the city with Firenze and Pisa with hourly connection. From Firenze then you can reach all other Italian Cities.
