In the evocative landscape of the Crete Senesi, immense expanses of clay moulded into hills and hollows, at the end of a scenic country road (about 1.5 km), you will find the Agriturismo Aia Vecchia The property consists of 5 apartments resulting from the renovation of 2 farmhouses that were part of the ancient farm of Montalceto, once a renowned thermal bath. These waters were already known at the beginning of the 14th century for the treatment of arthritis and rheumatism. You will find yourself catapulted into an ancient time, among the terracotta floors, wooden beams and exposed stone of the buildings.

The apartments all have independent entrances, are furnished with fine furniture and local antiques that give a warm and relaxing atmosphere to the visitor, and you will immediately feel welcome and cosy as if you were at home.

On the ground floor of the main house are the fully and extensively equipped common rooms, a small library, a piano, a table tennis, a well-equipped kitchen and the laundry room. Dinners with typical Tuscan dishes are available on request (minimum 8 persons).
You will also have an elegant billiard room at your disposal, where you can try your hand at billiards with your friends or family.

Main house divided in 3 apartments:

Apartment 1 on First floor, reached by an external stone staircase and loggia. Large sitting/dining room with kitchenette and stone fireplace with corner grill, two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom.

Apartment 2 on two floors with ground floor entrance in a dining-room with fireplace from which a stone staircase leads to the first floor with kitchen, three double bedrooms one of which has an en-suite bathroom with shower, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to one of the double bedrooms.

Apartment 3 on two floors reached by a travertine staircase. FIRST FLOOR: sitting/dining room with kitchenette, three double bedrooms, bathroom with shower, bathroom with bath. ATTIC: double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, sitting room. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom (first floor).

Annex divided in 2 apartments:

Apartment 4 on two levels with spacious external area, for private use, with garden furniture and barbecue. GROUND FLOOR: entrance, small twin bedroom, large twin bedroom, bathroom with shower. FIRST FLOOR: small sitting-room, kitchen/dining-room, large double bedroom, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom.

Apartment 5 on two levels with external private area with garden furniture and barbecue.
GROUND FLOOR: entrance, small twin bedroom, large twin bedroom, bathroom with shower. FIRST FLOOR: small sitting-room, kitchen/dining room, double bedroom, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom.

OUTDOOR

Walking along an avenue of magnificent cypress trees (approx. 250 m), you will reach the swimming pool with hydromassage (size 14 x 9 m. - depth 1,50-2,10 m - open from 01 May to 30 September) built near the villa where the owner lives. Near the swimming pool there is a bocce court and games for your children. You will also have at your disposal a large area equipped with garden furniture, barbecue, wood-burning oven, mountain bikes perfect for long rides in the fantastic surrounding countryside and volleyball court. In short, it is impossible to get bored at Aia Vecchia immersed in the incredible Sienese countryside!
Your small pets are welcome at the property.

INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Private pool open from 01/05 to 30/09.
Wi-Fi Internet access (at the swimming pool).
Bed linen and bathroom towels (Initial set).
Swimming pool and garden maintenance.
One baby bed available (for children up to 3 years) on request at time of booking. Any additional baby bed Euro 25 per week to be paid on spot.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 800 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. 
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 350.
Heating Euro 5 per m3 (if used).
Small size pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
